Yours iPhone does not load from PC / Mac this is why you are looking for a guide that lists some of them solutions that you can use to try to solve this problem. We from ChimeraRevo we have made a tutorial to help you with just that!
Check the USB cable
If yours iPhone fails to load from your computer, so first make sure that the cable is not damaged. Normally, you have to use the Lightning cable supplied by Apple present in the package. Alternatively, you can use equally efficient third-party solutions. Regarding this, we advise you to take a look at the attached article below.
Check the integrity of the Lightning port
Charging may not start due to the Lightning port damaged or full of dust. This often happens as the device is placed in a pocket or backpack, where it comes into contact with other objects (e.g. a bunch of keys).
Plug the phone into a power outlet
Between the solutions to solve the problem ofiPhone not charging from PC / Mac, we recommend that you try connecting the terminal to an electrical outlet using a power supply. If the charging does not start, most likely the problem lies in the iPhone itself, in the charger or in the charging cable used.
Use another USB port
Most of the desktop and laptop PCs on the market offer at least oneother USB port. So, the advice we give you is to disconnect the iPhone from the current port and reconnect it to another.
If available, use one charging port which provides more power and allows compatible devices to recharge quickly and to be charged even when the laptop is turned off. This type of USB-A input can be easily identified by the symbol of lightning placed next to it. In any case, we advise you to check the User Manual of the product as, in some cases, the symbol may be missing.
Authorize the operation of the charging accessory
iOS implements a safety function that automatically blocks any accessory connected to theiPhone (or another iOS device) to the Lightning port if it is not unlocked for over an hour. Therefore, in order to function correctly, the device must be unlocked using the recognition used (eg Face ID).
Uninstall and reinstall the iPhone
One of the solutions to be used if theiPhone won't charge from PC / Mac is to uninstall and reinstall it from your computer as it is recognized as a normal USB device. For example, on Windows you can do this using Management devices.
So, connect theiPhone to one of the available USB ports, right-click on thestart icon and choose Device management from the menu that appears. Once this is done, locate the item Portable devices and press on dart facing right to expand the menu.
At this point, right click on your name iPhone and choose Uninstall device. Once this is done, disconnect the iPhone from the PC and reconnect it. After unlocking it, charging should start automatically.
Connect the terminal to another computer
At this point, if you are still having problems, we suggest you try connect the iPhone to another desktop or laptop PC and see if the charging starts or not.
Check your computer's USB ports if they are disabled
If your smartphone charges successfully to another PC's USB port, most likely the ports on your computer are disabled. To check this, you can always exploit Device management.
Access the Windows tool following the instructions given in the previous lines and expand the menu of Controller USB (Universal Serial Bus) pressing on the appropriate arrow. Once this is done, right-click on each port and make sure none of them are disabled. If not, activate it and then see if theiPhone it loads.
What to do in case of problems
If you haven't solved with any of the above solutions, then yours iPhone still does not load from PC / Mac, we advise you to contact the Apple customer service or that of the manufacturer of your desktop or laptop PC. Here are some useful guides.
