After reading my tutorial on how eBay works and after thinking about it for a few days you finally made up your mind and you too, as well as many other users, have proceeded to shop on the famous site. During the purchase phase everything went the right way and you can therefore feel very happy and satisfied with the thing. However, if you are here now and you are reading these lines, it seems clear to me that, although there have been no problems, there is one thing that is not very clear to you and about which you would like to receive more details: how to do to manage to track down an eBay package.
How do you say? Things are exactly like this and would you like to understand if I can help you or not in this too? Of course you do, don't worry! So give me a few minutes of your precious free time and I will explain to you, in pennies but in detail, how to monitor all shipments of the products you have purchased on eBay (or that you have won after participating in an auction) directly. from the official website or app as well as through third-party services and tools. In all cases it is very easy, really.
Then? What are you doing still standing there? Position yourself comfortably in front of your trusty computer (or grab your smartphone or tablet, which, as anticipated, is also feasible from there) and follow the instructions on what to do that you find right below. I'm sure you'll eventually be ready to say it was actually a no-brainer. Are you ready?
Final report: The information below is valid only if the seller from whom you made your purchase has marked the shipment as shipped and has added a tracking code to it. If this is not the case, monitoring will not be feasible. Usually, however, almost all purchases made on eBay are traceable. Some shipments, such as in the case of international ones, may even be accompanied by multiple tracking codes depending on the country in which they are located and the shipping service that has taken charge of the operation.

Tracking an eBay package
Tracking an eBay package is an operation that can be performed without any kind of problem both from a computer (therefore from the eBay website) and from smartphones and tablets (therefore using the official app of the service). Either way, it's pretty simple. So let's see how to proceed. Find out how to do it right below.
From computer
To track your parcel from your computer, the first fundamental step you need to take is to start the web browser and connect to the eBay website. Then click on the link Log in which is at the top left and enter the data to login to your eBay account in the fields on the screen and then press the button Log in.
Now, move the cursor to the item My eBay which is at the top right and select the wording Purchase history from the menu that appears. At the card Activities in the new page that will open, in the section Orders, you will find listed all the orders you have placed through eBay. So try to identify what you are interested in tracking the shipment (if you can't find it you can help yourself with the filters at the top right) then click on the relevant box with the shipment code.
This will open an on-screen box through which you can view the date of shipment, that of the presumed delivery, the reference courier and the progress.
To receive further details (e.g. where the package is at the moment and the intermediate steps carried out by the courier), click on the item Other actions that you find in the upper right part of the name of the product purchased on the page visible after pressing on Purchase history, Choose See details when ordering from the menu that appears and click the button Show shipping details on the page that opens. So consult the info attached to the box that is shown to you.
In addition to what I have just indicated, you can follow the progress of the shipment on eBay by opening the specific email sent to you by the seller and clicking directly from there on the tracking code. By doing so, the page for tracking the package will open directly on the website of the courier employed (for more details on this, you can refer to the step dedicated to the websites of the couriers that you find in the final part of the guide).
From smartphones and tablets
If, on the other hand, you are interested in understanding how to track down an eBay package from your smartphone or tablet, the first move you need to do is to download the app of the famous site on your device. The eBay app is available at no cost for Android and iOS.
If you have not already done so, you can download immediately by pressing directly from your devices on the links that I have provided you a moment ago or you can grab your smartphone or tablet, unlock it, press on the relevant app store icon, type eBay in the search field, press the app and then the button to download and install.
Then start the app by tapping on its icon, log in to your account by typing the required access data and then step on the item My eBay which is at the bottom and press on the wording Shopping. On the next screen, select the order you wish to track and then you will be able to view the code assigned to your package, the shipping service used and the expected delivery date.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to get more details from the eBay mobile app like from the site. To find out exactly where your package is or in any case to receive further information about it, you can however take note of the tracking code that is provided to you and use it to search for the shipment through other apps specifically used for this purpose (to find out how to do it, you can follow the instructions contained in the step dedicated to tracking applications that you find in the final part of the guide).
Keep in mind that even in the case of mobile shipping it is possible to track an eBay package by opening the appropriate email sent by the seller and clicking directly from there on the tracking code. This will open the parcel tracking page on the carrier's website.
Alternative solutions
As well as as I have indicated in the previous lines, it is possible to track an eBay package by visiting the websites of the reference couriers or by using special tracking apps. Either way, you will need the shipping code to get all the details. If you are interested, continue reading, below you will find explained how to proceed.
Internet sites of couriers
As anticipated a few lines above, you can track an eBay package also by going directly to the website of the reference courier and searching for the tracking code from there. Before proceeding in this way, however, you must identify the name of the courier used by the seller on eBay to send you the package and the tracking code. You can find both information by logging into your eBay account, in the section relating to orders, and then clicking on the shipping code attached to the details or via the specific email sent by eBay when the package is sent.
Then type su Google a keyword like shipment tracking [courier name] (instead of [don't run] you must indicate the name of the reference courier), click on the relevant link in the search results and then type the tracking number of your package in the empty field on the screen to search for the shipment. Then press the button to start the search or press the button Submit on the keyboard.
Once this is done, if you have entered all the data correctly you will be shown a new web page with all the details relating to your order placed on Bay.
For example, if the seller from whom you purchased goods on eBay has chosen to ship their package with post 2022ne, to track the shipment you will need to visit the appropriate section of the Internet of Poste 2022ne, you will then have to type the code for the tracking of the package in the appropriate field under the heading Search Shipping and you will have to click on the button with the magnifying glass which is on the right.
A new page will then be loaded with the date of acceptance of the package, the list of intermediate steps that the shipment has made before arriving at its destination and, if available, also the date of delivery of the goods.

If you think it might interest you, take a look at the apps belonging to the category listed below, they are the ones that in my opinion represent some of the best in the category. They are free of charge (at least in their basic version) and are usable on both Android and iOS devices.
- iTracking (iOS / Android) - Popular app developed in 2022, very popular and also very efficient. It supports all major national and foreign shipping services and has a nice user interface. The basic version of the app is free but possibly there is also a paid variant that adds support for additional shipping services.
- Deliveries Package Tracker (Android) - One of the most complete and plentiful shipping tracking applications on Android devices. It supports all major couriers and postal services in the world and also allows you to scan QR codes and barcodes to add packages to track on the fly. The basic version is free, while the full version (without advertising and with direct support for eBay and Amazon) is for a fee.
- Parcel (iOS) - "Gettonata" application for tracking shipments on iOS devices. It supports all the most important national and international couriers, it also allows you to track packages on a map and directly visit the website of the courier on duty. It is free but in order to take advantage of some advanced features you need to make an in-app purchase.
