Put your phone number on Instagram via registration
The first solution you can adopt for put the phone number on Instagram is the one that requires registration to the photographic social network via your mobile number. In this regard, in the following lines, I'll explain how to do this through the app Instagram for Android and iOS and from a computer, via the official website of the social network and its application for Windows 10.
Android / iOS
To register a Instagram with the mobile number from smartphones and tablets, start the social network app previously downloaded on Android or iOS by pressing on its icon (the one in the shape of a camera) on the home screen and / or in the drawer.
Once this is done, click on the item Sign up by phone or email located on the home screen of the application, then tap on the tab Phone Number and type yours in the text field that is shown to you cellphone number.
To continue, click on the button NEXT and fill out the registration form that is proposed to you with all the required information, such as the name and Password that you intend to use to log into your account.

If you prefer to register at Instagram from a PC without resorting to specific applications, you can connect to the social network website using any browser.
Once connected to the Instagram site, use the text fields on the page to type cellphone number, name and surname and username you want to use on Instagram, as well as the Password with which you want to access the platform.
To continue, click on the button NEXT, then confirm the mobile number entered by typing the code of confirmation received via SMS in the next text field that is shown to you.

In that case, you need to switch from a personal Instagram account to a business account, so that you can provide a mobile number as contact information visible to all. You can do this directly from the Instagram app for Android and iOS: here's how.
Android / iOS
The transition to a business account on Instagram it is a very simple operation to carry out, which has as its main advantage the possibility of connecting a pre-existing Facebook page (or creating one on the spot), as well as accessing the Insights tool of Instagram, which allows you to access a section that shows your account statistics.
That said, to do this, start the Instagram on your smartphone and, if necessary, log in to your account. Then go to your profile screen by pressing onicona dell'omino or thumbnail of your profile (bottom right), then tap the ☰ button located in the top right corner of the screen. On the page that is shown to you, tap on the item Settings, then press on the wording Account. Finally, presses on the wording Switch to a corporate account.
This will start the wizard for switching to a company account: then click on the button NEXT, put the check mark on the Facebook page . you want to connect (or press on the item Create a new Facebook page to create one on the spot). Put your private phone number on Instagram
If you registered a Instagram by email address, instead of by phone number, you can later put the latter in the private information of your account Instagram. As I am about to explain, to carry out this operation you can act through the Instagram app for Android or the one for iOS, but also from a computer, through the Web version of the social network or its official application for Windows 10.
Android / iOS
To put the phone number inside the private information of your account Instagram acting from smartphone and tablet, start the social network app on your device and, if necessary, log in to your account.
Once this is done, go to your profile screen by pressing onicona dell'omino or thumbnail of your profile (bottom right), and press the button Edit the profile. At this point, tap in the text field Phone Number and, on the next screen, type yours telephone number. Then press on NEXT, to confirm the addition, and that's it.
Web
If you prefer to act as a PC, and more precisely as a browser, connect to the Instagram home page and log in to your account. Once this is done, click onicona dell'omino located at the top right, to go to your profile.
On the next page that is shown to you, click on the button Edit the profile and type, in the text field Phone Number, your mobile number that you want to add to Instagram. Once this is done, confirm the addition by pressing the button Send located at the bottom.
PC
If you own a computer equipped with Windows 10, to put the phone number on Instagram within the private information of the account you can also act through the official application of the social network.
That said, after downloading and launching the application via Microsoft Store, log in to your account and press theicona dell'omino or the thumbnail of your profile at the bottom, then press the button Edit profile and use the text field Phone Number to type yours cellphone number. Finally, confirm the operation by pressing the button NEXT.
Don't put your phone number on Instagram
If you registered on Instagram via the phone number or, if you entered it later following the instructions I gave you in the previous chapter but then thought about it, don't worry.
At any time, you can indeed remove the phone number on Instagram by acting from the section dedicated to private information of your account. To carry out this operation correctly, however, you must first provide a email address valid, which will be used for registration instead of the telephone number.
