Do you need to fill in a form in which you are asked to also enter the tax code and you do not remember which one is yours? Do you need to find out a person's social security number urgently and can't contact them? You can remedy the problem over the Internet.
In fact, there are several online services and apps for smartphones and tablets that allow you to trace a person's tax code simply by typing in their personal data: name, surname, date of birth and municipality of birth. They cannot guarantee the absolute correctness of the results, as there may be homonyms born on the same day and in the same municipality, but they are generally very reliable.
If you are interested in investigating the matter - and given the circumstances I assume so -, take a few minutes of free time all to yourself and immediately start concentrating on reading this tutorial of mine entirely focused on how to find the tax code for free. Online services to find the tax code for free
As I said at the beginning, on the net there are a lot of online services thanks to which it is possible to calculate the tax code by entering the personal data of the reference subject.
They can be used from any browser and operating system (provided you have an active and working Internet connection) and are very simple to use. Below you will find those that in my opinion represent the best in the category.
My tax code
If you don't know how to find the tax code for free, the first site I recommend you visit is My tax code, through which it is possible to easily calculate the tax code of a person starting from his personal data: name, surname, date of birth and place of birth. Of course all in 2022no and extremely easy to use.
What you have to do to use it is to connect to its main page and type, in the form that is proposed to you, the data of the person whose tax code you want to find out. So, enter your name and how in the fields below the entries Name: e Last name: and the municipality or the foreign country of birth in the field placed under the heading Municipality or foreign country of birth:.
Then indicate the gender of the reference subject by selecting the correct option on the right, the date of birth using the appropriate field at the bottom and click on the button Calculate your tax code which is always on the right. Then you will see the tax code just calculated at the top of the page. Great, right?
Codicefiscale.com
As an alternative to the above service you can appeal to Codicefiscale.com. This is another Internet site dedicated to the purpose in question and with a good or bad functioning similar to that of the aforementioned portal. The only real difference is in the interface, which turns out to be more attractive.
You ask me how to make use of it? I'll point it out to you right away. First, visit the home page of the service and fill in the fields Last name e Full name typing, respectively, the surname and the name of the person whose tax code you want to find.
Now indicate the date of birth using the menus next to the item Birthday and your gender by clicking on the button Male gender or on that Female sex.
Then specify the place of birth (2022no or external) indicating it in the field adjacent to the wording Place of Birth or External State and the province of reference, by entering their initials in the field Province adjacent.
Then click the button Calculate now which is at the bottom and the web page will be immediately reloaded to show you, at the top of the same, the tax code. You can also copy it "on the fly" to the clipboard by clicking on the button Copy that you always find at the top.
If you need to perform the tax code calculation all over again, click on the button Calculate a new code at the bottom and fill in the fields displayed on the screen again as I indicated a few lines above.
CodiceFiscale.com
Another great service you can use to find your free tax code is CodiceFiscale.com. It is a portal with identical characteristics to those of the sites I have already told you about, also characterized by a fairly pleasant interface and including some useful information relating to the nature and history of the tax code.
To use it, go to the main page of the service and fill in the fields Last name e Full name with, respectively, the surname and name of the person whose tax code you intend to find. Then select the gender you belong to through the drop-down menu that you find next to the item Gender.
Now indicate the place of birth and the province of birth using the fields adjacent to the appropriate items and specify the date of birth using the menus corresponding to the wording Birthday.
Finally, click on the button Calculate located at the bottom. Subsequently the page will be reloaded and you will be immediately shown the tax code.
If you want, you can print or copy the tax code obtained by clicking on the dedicated buttons at the bottom or, again, you can generate a link to share the data displayed on the page with others.
If, on the other hand, you want to carry out the calculation of the tax code from scratch, just click on the button New that you can always find below and fill in again, as I have indicated above, the various fields on the screen.

Even the website Comuni.com integrates a section through which it is possible to calculate the tax code for free. Even in this case, just type the required data in the appropriate fields displayed and within a few moments it is possible to know the tax code of the reference person.
Therefore, all you have to do to be able to use it is to connect to the web page of the service and fill in the fields displayed on the screen by typing the surname, first name, city or state of birth outside and province of the reference subject.
Then specify your gender by selecting the correct option next to the item Gender and the date of birth by clicking the button with the program next to the item Il and selecting it from the menu that appears.
Finally, click the button Calculate the tax code that you find below. In the new page that will subsequently be shown to you, you will therefore find the tax code just calculated. If you want, you can print it by clicking on the button Print than below.
White pages
Also on the website of the White pages (practically the digital version of the historical paper edition) there is a tool through which it is possible to calculate the tax code.
To use it, connect to the reference web page and fill out the form you see by typing in the fields Full name e Last name the name and surname of the person whose tax code you want to calculate is in the field If you were born in 2022 the municipality of birth of the reference subject. If the person in question was born abroad, select the correct status from the drop-down menu next to the item If you were born abroad placed lower.
Then indicate the date of birth through the menus adjacent to the item Birthday, the gender of the reference subject by ticking the correct option in correspondence with the wording Gender and click the button computes.
The White Pages website will therefore verify the correctness of the data entered, the Web page will be reloaded and in the lower part of the same, under the heading The fiscal code * searched for is:, you will be given the tax code. It was easy, wasn't it?
Inverse calculation
Do you have a tax code and do you want to use it to trace a person's personal data? Science fiction? Absolutely not, you can do this too! Even in this case, numerous services are available for this purpose. Among others, I advise you to try Reverse Code (a name, a promise!).
To serve, connect to the website of the service and type the tax code of reference in the empty field that displays on the screen. Then click on the button Verifica located on the right to make sure that the tax code just entered is correct.
If the verification returns a negative result, obviously there is some form error in the tax code just entered. If, on the other hand, the verification returns a positive result, click on the button Extract the data always placed on the right in order to obtain the name, date of birth, sex and municipality / province of birth of the person to whom the tax code just entered belongs.
Keep in mind that unfortunately it is not possible to trace the surnames, as the tax codes contain only three letters. It should also be taken into account that as regards the names, various possible solutions are proposed which match the letters of the CF. App to find the tax code for free
If you need to find the free tax code from your smartphone, instead of relying on the aforementioned Internet sites, you may consider it much more convenient to use an app specifically used for the purpose in question.
In this regard, below you will find listed what I believe to be the best applications in the category and which you can use to calculate the tax code on the go, on Android, iOS and Windows Mobile. They are all free and very easy to use. Choose the one you find and download it immediately on your device.
- Tax code (Android) - Application designed specifically for Android devices thanks to which it is possible to find the tax code of a data subject in an incredibly simple way. If necessary, the resulting data can also be exported.
- Tax Code of Paolo Santarsiere (Android) - Simple but highly effective application for Android thanks to which it is possible to find the tax code as well as, if necessary, to perform the reverse search.
- iCodiceFiscaleITA (iOS) - Specific application for iOS devices used for the purpose in question. The data obtained can also be copied to the clipboard so that it can be pasted where necessary.
- The Tax Code (iOS) - Another app for iOS through which to be able to calculate the tax code. The graphics are a bit sparse, it must be said, but it is really simple to use. Recommended!
