Harley Quinn has progressively become one of the most beloved characters in the DC Comics universe, to the point that his appearances have begun to be frequent even outside the comics. It is no coincidence that over the last few years we have had films, video games and animated series that saw her at the center of the action. Now it looks like his success is going back to basics. In fact, a new comic series dedicated to Harley Quinn has just been announced, set after the end of the second season of the animated series Harley Quinn: The Animated Series. The series will be called Harley Quinn: The Animated Series – The Eat, Bang, Kill Tour.
Harley Quinn: The Animated Series – The Eat, Bang, Kill Tour
The new comic series was written by Tee Franklin and designed by Max Sarin and the first issue is expected to arrive this September, probably to coincide with the release of the third season of the animated series. The story will follow the events of Harley and Poison Ivy, immediately after the latter's bankruptcy marriage with Kite-Man. The two villains will then be able to develop their relationship in a long road trip.
The animated series takes an ironic and sarcastic approach to the DC Comics universe and we can reasonably expect that these characteristics will also be transposed into the comic. That said, there is no doubt that the series has tempered a lot of the violence and blood typical of Harley's adventures, but sure that the final product will still be able to make fans of the character happy.
This series had already been announced in rather vague terms during the last ComicsPro event in February and only now has more information been revealed about the project. Despite this there are many other titles that we still don't know anything about, despite being announced several months ago, such as Deathstroke Inc., Elseworld, DC Vampires, Robin and Batman, The Legend of Batman, Nubia and the Amazons, and DC Middle Ages.
