Well, then I am happy to inform you that you have landed on the right guide, at the right time. In fact, with this article of mine today I want to show you some of those that in my humble opinion represented the best resources in the category.
How do you say? Are you happy with this but don't you want to put your purse in your hand? I don't see the problem, the ones I'm about to illustrate are free photo app so to use them you will not have to spend even a cent and, I'll tell you more, they have absolutely nothing to envy to the many paid solutions that are around. In fact, below you will find very valid tools for both shooting and photo editing and capable of returning final results worthy of a true professional.
You do not believe me? So let's do this: take a few minutes of free time all to yourself, make yourself comfortable and concentrate on reading this article. Try one or more of the various applications that I am about to illustrate and you will see that in the end you will be ready to agree with me. OK? Very good! So let's ban the chatter and proceed.
Pixlr (Android/iOS/iPadOS)
The first photo app I want to invite you to pay attention to is Pixlr. Haven't you ever heard of it? Strange, she is really very famous. Either way, you don't have to worry, we'll fix it immediately. This is a nice app for Android and iOS / iPadOS that offers everything you need to edit photos directly from mobile.
Pixlr, in fact, provides filters, tools to crop, rotate and correct the errors present in most digital photos, brushes for drawing and much more. The interface, then, is cared for down to the smallest detail and is really very intuitive. Before explaining how it works, I would like to point out that the removal of advertising and access to all filters is reserved for those who purchase the Premium version of the app, which costs 3,49 euros / month.
To use the application, just start Pixlr, choose whether to take a photo at the moment by selecting the option camera or whether to take a photo from the gallery by selecting the option photo.
Then use the various buttons located in the lower part of the editor to make the desired changes: the symbol of suitcase offers access to image editing tools (crop, rotate, correct, etc.); the brush it allows you to call up the tool to draw on the photo, clarify / darken the subjects or "check" the areas that you may want to censor; the icon of star gives you access to Instagram-style filters and overlay effects, while the icons of the cornice and letters T they allow you to add frames and text to the image.
After making changes, you can save your masterpiece by pressing the button at the top right. Then choose one of the available options to store the photo on the device or to share it online.
I also point out that Pixlr also allows you to create photo collages. You ask me how? Very easy! Once you see the main screen of the app select the option collage. Then use the editor that is proposed to you to choose the type of photo collage to use, the division into grids, borders, etc. and select the photos by tapping on the buttons + (plus symbol) that you find in correspondence of each box and save the final highlight.
PhotoFunia (Android/iOS/iPadOS)
Are you looking for a free photo app that allows you to create stunning and, why not, funny photo montages? Then download now PhotoFunia, an application for Android and iOS / iPadOS entirely dedicated to photomontages with scenarios of all kinds, famous people to impersonate and many other effects. It is very easy to use and does not require an always-on Internet connection to be exploited.
To create a photomontage, launch the app and select one of the categories available in the section Categories of the latter: Postcards to make postcards, Poster to insert photos into preset scenarios, Faces o Celebrity to place your face on the body of famous people and so on
Then indicate the type of scenario in which you want to insert your photos, stop on the button Choose photos and decide whether to import the photo from the Camera Roll of the smartphone, from social networks or whether to take a shot in real time. Then marry and / or resize the selected image, press the button OK and wait for the photomontage to be created. Finally, stop on the floppy disk at the top right to save your creation on the device or select the icon of sharing to share it on the network.
Camera ZOOM FX (Android)
Camerza ZOOM FX instead it is a specific app for Android devices through which you can take excellent quality photos in any condition. The interface is not exactly synonymous with intuitiveness due to the many tools and countless functions available but apart from this it is undoubtedly the ideal solution for those looking for a good level tool, at no cost and without having technical skills. details in the photographic field.
To use it, start the application, frame the subject you are interested in and stop on the button with the symbol of camera. If you want, before taking the photo you can use the various screen buttons to adjust the effect to be applied to the colors, the white balance, the type of framing and the shooting mode. You can also choose to apply effects in real time by tapping on the button FX.
Once the photo has been taken, edit it with the internal editor by tapping on its preview displayed at the bottom of the application screen. Through the editor you can then edit the photo as you see fit by changing its colors, cutting it, rotating it, applying blur effects, frames and much more. All by simply pressing the relative buttons on the screen.
Once the changes are complete, choose whether to save the image in the device gallery, to print it or to share it by tapping, respectively, on the buttons of the floppy diskand print it or of sharing that you see appear at the top right of the app screen.
Obviously, nothing prevents you from using Camera ZOOM FX to make changes to photos that have already been taken. To do this, just tap on the preview of the images in the gallery attached to the lower part of the main screen of the app.
TADAA (iOS)
Do you use an iPhone or an iPad and the above applications have not convinced you in a particular way because you are looking for a tool that allows you to apply filters directly in real time? Then I advise you to try immediately TADAA. It is a beautiful application with a very simple and intuitive user interface which, in fact, allows you to apply live a whole series of filters by means of a simple swipe as well as to make corrections of various kinds, of course. It is available for iOS / iPadOS.
To use it, start the app and frame what you want to capture with the camera of your smartphone. So start scrolling through the various filters available by swiping to the left or right to go, respectively, back and forth between the available options. When you find the one that satisfies you, take the photo by pressing on green circular button bottom center.
If you want, you can also add the grid to improve the shot by tapping the button at the top and you can change the format of the photograph by tapping the icon with the rectangle which is always at the top, on the left. If you prefer to use the front camera instead of using the rear camera, stop on the symbol of photography machine top right. The other buttons at the top center allow you to turn the flash on and off, take a series of sequential shots and use manual focus.
Have you already taken the photo you want to edit? Then take it directly from the roll by tapping on the preview of the latter in the lower right part of the screen for shooting.
Once the photo has been taken, use the various tools attached to the on-screen editor to modify it as you see fit by adjusting the filter and / or intensity, brightness, perspective and so on. Then you can save the image by pressing the button at the top right with the down arrow and then plugging up Close. If you want, you can also share the photo taken on social networks by inserting a caption of your choice and tapping on the button with the icon of Facebook, of Twitter or Tumblr.
