Where to land?

Weapons galore, no inventory
Fortnite has an exhaustive range of weapons of all kinds with more or less rare equipment, the rarity of which you can detect very quickly thanks to a color code. However, you will have to make choices, because you will very quickly be restricted with only 5 slots available in the inventory.
It's all about the balance. To be effective in Fornite, you have to be versatile in order to be able to react appropriately to different situations. Go for a shotgun, assault rifle, and sniper rifle. The stake is to be able to defend yourself, regardless of the distance between the enemy and you. The other two slots can be assigned to Traps or Shield Potions (if your gauge is already full).
Be careful with loots
After killing an enemy, do not search their corpse directly. First, make sure the perimeter is secure. Shots can attract other players and it would be unfortunate to die organizing your inventory.
Stay hidden for a little while, it will benefit you if other enemies arrive. When you are sure the way is clear, go and rob your victim. Know thata new feature is available on the mobile version: auto-pickup. You just need to walk past an object to pick it up. It sounds harmless, but it's much more effective. When the inventory is full, all you have to do is select the weapon or unwanted object and then tap on the one you want on the ground to switch.
Always going forward
See her as your own worst enemy. The storm triggers multiple times in the game in order to narrow the area and force players to get closer. In the absence of vehicles in Fortnite, you have to always be on the move and move forward.
A quick glance at the map does not hurt so as not to take the wrong direction. Be careful, because the smaller the safe zone becomes, the more damage the storm does.
Rely on sound markers
In an FPS, referring to footsteps, gunshots and opening doors is a crucial element in anticipating the opponent's movements and / or actions. The small novelty of Fortnite mobile is to have added sound markers around the character in order to identify surrounding noises, even without a headset.
You can see which direction the noises are coming from, and find out if they are footsteps or gun sounds. The more opaque the color becomes, the closer the danger, the more transparent the color, the more distant the danger.
Flee, poor fools!
Like it or not, Fortnite is not a game where you have to do the kill in the hope of increasing a certain ratio. The goal of a battle royale is to survive by any means, so no need to face danger when it is not absolutely necessary.
When you see the game this way, sound markers don't help you kill your enemy, but rather run away from them. Also avoid houses where the door is already open, otherwise, be very careful and walk in step.
Building your base
In duo or section mode, it's a lot of fun to build a base. For it, it takes a lot of resources such as wood, stone and metal. With your pickaxe, destroy any object of the scenery as well as enemy constructions to collect their materials.
In solo, it is better to avoid, because that's not what will win you a game. In contrast, the resources collected can be used for something else.
Take height
From the small icon to the right of the equipment bar, you can access construction mode. Collect as much wood as you can, so you can create passages with your wooden planks to cross certain obstacles and even climb a little in altitude.
Getting up high is always a good decision to realize the environment around you. If you are equipped with a crossbow or sniper rifle, these are the best places to use them.
Collect all the potions
During your long exploration of the island, you will come across shield potions. Swallow them directly, they do not raise your health bar, but fill up your armor gauge just above. This will allow you to withstand more shocks and, therefore, lose less health points.
It is useless to keep them throughout the game, it is directly consumable. It would just clutter up your little inventory.
Knowing how to retreat
On mobile, you can count on aiming assistance. This option can also be used against PC and console players, but it is far from guaranteeing victory in a duel.
There is a good way to know if you have a chance of winning. Fire a first series of bullets at the enemy to reveal the damage above his head. If the numbers are blue, his shield is still effective. If for you this is not the case, then take your legs to your neck. The goal is to survive, not to kill yourself!
On the contrary, if the numbers tend towards yellow and white, it is because you are directly attacking the points of life.
