Atmosphere and history
It's a simple and relaxed game with no deep and engaging storyline. It is about a king and his friends of the kingdom, as they jump to avoid enemies and traps. However, there are a lot of different characters, who are meant to be the King's friends, and they are animated! In fact, there are a total of 20 characters to choose from right now, but only 5 are free to start with and they don't have any special abilities. What are the special abilities of the characters in a casual jumping game, you ask? Well, surprisingly, quite innovative and eye-catching. There is a character called Sancho, who can slow down the movements of moving platforms. Oh, yes… there are movable platforms, to make your nerves even more nervous.
The characters are unlocked with the coins, which are the only and main currency in the game. You collect it through the game, get it by watching the standard promotional video or by purchasing them. There are also other colorful characters like ghosts, pirates, mythical beings, and more, all with their own unique skill.

Ah! Now for the main attraction: the Flood Time gameplay">gameplay. Yeah, for a simple casual jumping game, it's going to stretch your veins and nerves so much that you'll want to smash your Smartphone in half, but you'll pick it up and play it back guaranteed.
With your character of choice, you are tasked with jumping upwards, from one platform to another, in an endless challenge. The only goal is to go as high as possible and stay alive. And that's where things go south.
You are besieged by enemies who patrol horizontally on the platforms. But they move so fast like racing cars! And, you only get an exclamation mark as a warning for when they are going to appear and zoom out of their way. However, the characters also move and jump quite quickly, making the pace of the game dangerously high.
Everything is controlled by simple glides in four basic directions. Swiping up will jump onto the platform above, provided there is one. Swiping left or right will cause your character to jump in that direction, and sliding down will cause your character to jump to the platform below. However, beware, as this game earns its name Flood Time with the rising water constantly one step behind you, always threatening to drown you.
So to recap, you need to jump up, to the highest platform you can handle, avoid getting hit by enemies blazing from all sides, use moving platforms, and dodge the fire and obstacles, without the rising water ever winning over you. Simple… no?
