In a few months - November 14, to be precise - players will welcome the new and ambitious Fallout 76. However, for Fallout 4 the time has not yet come to close the shop. On the contrary, the fourth chapter of the license plate series Bethesda offers us a new mod to try on PC: let's talk about Northern Springs.
This unofficial expansion will introduce an unprecedented setting for the post-apocalyptic world, surrounded by new quests, characters, weapons and so on and so forth. Let's find out what awaits us in the cold lands of Northern Springs.
Fallout 4: a picnic in that of Northern Springs
Available in the Nexus Mods online catalog, Fallout 4: Northern Springs is developed by the team of Modular Illusion and it is considered, for all intents and purposes, the largest expansion the RPG has ever embraced. Despite being a "simple" mod, this will in fact introduce a new boundless area located northwest of the Commonwealth.
According to the statements of the lead designer of the project, Jshrapnelc, the project adds over 50 new locations to explore, 25 main quests and 4 new fully voiced companions, including the Vault-Tec Representative - first appeared in the official campaign intro. There are also three new settlements, to be discovered, customized and expanded throughout the adventure.
Although the Northern Springs area is not located within the original map, in the latter there will still be new quests and secondary activities to be carried out. You can also put into practice one of the four new "jobs" available, namely Cage Fighter, Deathclaw Hunter, Book Collector and Bounty Hunter.
It is still not entirely clear, but it seems that in Northern Springs we will even have the chance to meet ... a ghost. Already. As if the Super Mutants weren't enough.
