Description

Following the meteoric development of the Coronavirus epidemic / pandemic (Covid-19), the Government has gradually introduced measures to protect the populations. All non-compulsory movements and gatherings are not recommended and children from 6 years old must wear a mask.

During these more complicated periods two scenarios were introduced: confinement and curfew. In both cases, compulsory travel for specific reasons is only authorized with the use of a certificate. Two certificates therefore coexist: the Special Travel Attention for containment zones and the Special Travel Certificate during the curfew. Certificates can be generated directly from the TousAntiCovid application.

Update of May 3, 2021: The exceptional travel certificate is no longer necessary during the day, as the 10 km travel restrictions have been lifted. For trips between 19 p.m. and 6 a.m., you must bring a travel certificate during the curfew.

Update of May 19, 2021: the first containment relief measures are being deployed. The curfew is pushed back to 21 p.m. The terraces of bars and restaurants, shops and places of culture, cinema, museums, theater can again welcome the public according to strict sanitary rules. Gatherings of more than 10 people are still prohibited, and group sports activities are permitted outdoors. The discos remain closed.

Update of June 9, 2021: New step taken for deconfinement. The curfew is postponed to 23 p.m., sports halls can open and bars and restaurants can receive the public indoors on condition of respecting reduced gauges and keeping a digital or paper reminder book.

You can only travel during this period for certain strict reasons, the list of which you can find below and with theExceptional Travel Certificate. Note that trips of less than 10 km do not require a certificate, as there is no time limit. Remember to bring proof of address for any checks. To calculate the area in which you can circulate you can use the CalcMaps tool.

For business trips, we remind you that you must bring the proof of travel to be completed by your company and which must be presented at the same time as your travel certificate.

For travel from abroad to our country and from and to overseas the old derogatory travel certificate is still valid.

In all cases, remember to have your identity papers with you.

What is this document for?

This new period of confinement which begins on Friday, October 30 and is defined, for the moment, until December 2021, XNUMX, is defined as follows: secondary schools and high schools remain open, but universities and higher education establishments will carry out their distance learning video lessons. Only shops defined as essential are open. If the position allows it, employees must be teleworked, companies are advised not to close in order to continue their economic activity.

In order to allow the movement of people for compulsory reasons, certificates have been created. You can download them above by choosing the one you need. we remind you that the certificates are available both to download and to print, but also in a digital format that allows you to create and save it on your smartphone. The only trips allowed are those listed on the certificates.

This free download document must be completed with your identity and home address. You must therefore certify on your honor that your trip is necessary and compulsory for the following reasons (proof will be requested):

for your work if you cannot telework (with proof)
to bring your children to their school (with proof) or go to an exam, competition or training (which cannot be done remotely)
to see a doctor (teleconsultation impossible) and other health-related visits
to assist vulnerable people, for compelling family reasons or for childcare
to respond to a police summons, to report to the police
to ensure a mission of general interest
to get to a staple shop
to perform a physical activity outdoors at a maximum distance of 10km from your home (you can use the Geoportal tool to view this distance)

Note that, unlike March 2021, parks, public gardens and beaches remain open.

If you have a professional card, you can also present it during the control to justify your trip: press card, professional card for hospital staff, certificate from your employer, etc. You must also bring proof of travel to be completed by your company.

Proof of school trip

You can download the school travel certificate using the second download button at the top of the form. This certificate has no fixed duration, once completed you will always use the same one. You must complete the certificate and then have it stamped by the educational establishment (to be seen depending on the establishment).

What if I don't have a printer?

If you do not have a printer, you can write this certificate yourself on plain paper with the date and your signature.

How to complete the digital certificate or via the TousAntiCovid application?

Digital attestation

The certificate is available in a digital version, from our download link, or via the TousAntiCovid application.

To access it click on the specific link. You will then have fields to fill in, the fields that you normally fill in in the certificate to download, then to check the reason for leaving, note the date, the city and the department.

And finally click on "Generate my certificate". This will generate a PDF file for you to save to your device. The file must then be saved on your phone (it is best to create the file directly from it).

Certification in the TousAntiCovid application

Since Tuesday, November 4, 2021, the TousAntiCovid application offers integrated management of the travel certificate. No need to go to the government site to generate a file to save on your smartphone, everything is integrated into the application.

What sanctions?

If you do not present this certificate during a control, which you cannot justify for a compelling and compulsory reason for your trip, you may be liable to a fine of € 135.

These containment measures are essential to limit the spread of Covid-19.

Special case: international travel

In some very special cases you may need to travel. Three types of travel are taken into account:

From the metropolis to the overseas territories
From the international to the metropolis
From international to overseas

In all these cases, you must print and complete a specific certificate which will be requested when boarding.
