Evil Dead: Hail to the King is a video game, the second, based on the horror film known as "The House".
Released in 2000 to Sony PlayStation, PC and Sega Dreamcast, Evil Dead: Hail to the King has A Fistful of Boomstick as a sequel. The plot takes place eight years after Ash's return to the modern era, with our protagonist returning to work for S-Mart and dating his colleague Jenny. Ash suffers from nightmares involving the Necronomicon and the Deadites and for this reason Jenny decides to help him, taking him to Professor Knowby's chalet.
The goal is to have Ash face his demons. This dynamic adventure in style survival horror resembles in some ways the much more famous and successful Resident Evil. Even in Evil Dead: Hail to the King, ammo is limited, as is gasoline for the legendary Ash's chainsaw. Preset backgrounds and camera angles similar to RE make this game a must for all lovers of the saga, although it should be noted that it is certainly not a masterpiece.
