one-day catastrophic events that saw the surrounding San Francisco area covered
In the mists of Terrigen that create Inhumans, the Avengers have dissolved. the
the public is now terrified of anyone with superpowers and MODOK has created a
robotic army he controls to hunt down the Inhumans. One of these inhumans is a
fangirl superhero named Kamala Khan who discovered the Avengers were
set up on D-day.
In the Marvel Universe, Kamala is a newly introduced
character, having debuted in August 2013 in Captain Marvel # 13. Next year
she got her own solo series, Ms. Marvel. Here's all we know about her

Who is she and what are her powers?
Kamela Khan is an inhuman with the ability to twist and
transform your body at will. She can enlarge or shrink parts of her body, modify it
general appearance, and more. You can see her use these powers in combat in
the video below around 19:30 p.m.
While she lives in New Jersey in the comics, for history purposes we can assume that she lives in San Francisco in the next game so that she is connected to the Mists of Terrigen. She's a superhero-obsessed Pakistani American, her favorite being Carol Danvers AKA Captain Marvel, which is the inspiration for her superhero alias Ms. Marvel, Danvers' former alias in the comics.
While she did not have an appearance in Marvel's first reveal
Avengers, Kamala is a key character who could be the main protagonist of
the story of the game.
What does she want?
In the game, Kamala encountered information that shows
the Avengers were set up during A-Day. Near the start of the story trailer,
one can guess that Kamala is first introduced to her powers when she pushes someone
and his arms dilate. This find puts AIM on his cock and she comes face
face MODOK. She escapes and chases Bruce Banner to lead him
with video evidence and assemble the group of heroes.
Why choose it?
In a game focused on Earth's Mightiest Heroes, it can seem interesting to lean so heavily on a character with a distinct lack of story behind her. This is why Crystal Dynamics chose to have her as a prominent character in the game. Marvel's Avengers lead producer Rose Hunt said in an interview with IGN that since she doesn't have 80 years of history behind her, it does. gave the team the freedom to tell an original story.
Regarding characters like Captain America and Iron
Dude, we know how they look at the world and where they're from. They are such
sturdy staples that don't have much room for change. With Kamala there is more
leeway, starting with his home on the other side of the country and which
knows what else we'll see that's brand new when the game comes out.
