What Android Auto? It is not a fully automatic Google-made operating system, it is a customized version of Android for machines. While this may sound rather dubious in terms of security and stability, it is full of interesting features and can connect with, as you may have already guessed, any product capable of running one of the latest versions of Android.
However, if this has a small version of Android, one wonders: it has the opzioni sviluppatore inside? For those who do not remember, the developer options allow you to activate functions that are considered experimental or that a user should not, as a rule, activate in order not to encounter problems. They are precisely functions dedicated to developers who want to test their Apps on different occasions.
But let's see how to enable them in our Android Auto anyway. We open the App on our mobile phone and press the word "Android Auto" at the top left. We have to do this for about 10 times, after which we will notice the message below which will indicate that the options are now active and ready to use.
Now that the developer options are active, don't go and operate the app of the machine, you must always use your Smartphone. Open the menu at the top right: you will notice that two buttons have been added, one for developer options and the other to close developer options to avoid tweaking options from other users.
The functions are numerous and all quite interesting. You can insert a function that skips the initial warning, the ability to save audio and video and to juggle the day / night mode so that it works together with the mobile phone or the car (or permanently set the day or night mode). At the moment many functions are not documented, so act with the right caution and don't ruin your software by activating options that are not made for a normal user!
