In a 2012 follow-up, it's very silly but undeniably fun Medieval Battle of Knights, Knighthood 2 is about to bring the Medieval Brawler back for another round of punches. With the promise of 64-player battles, enhanced visuals, and the meaty first-person combat of the original, Chivalry 2 is intended to provide fans of both original and new players with a good reason to get started.
As with all indie games similar in scope to Knighthood 2, the player base tends to be small and it takes a passionate set of players to maintain a community. However, cross-play between console platforms and the PC has been integral to securing the future of these games.
Fortunately, developer Torn Banner Studios has confirmed that the game will feature cross-play across all platforms. Not only that, but it also seems to confirm that intergenerational gaming will also feature in the game, as the game has already been confirmed for next-gen consoles, the PS5, and Xbox Series X. That should mean if you have a PS5 , you can still play with friends who are playing on Xbox One for example.

Chivalry 2 is slated for release in 2020 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
