Hunting for 3D dinosaurs with Google
Summer is the perfect time to relax, have fun and go hunting for dinosaurs - obviously with due precautions. Thanks to the collaboration with Universal Brand Development, Amblin Entertainment and Ludia, Google has managed to bring 10 dinosaurs of the Jurassic World movie directly to your home.
Get ready to welcome the huge T. Rex into the living room, but remember to don't move otherwise it's trouble.
To do this, just type the word Dinosaurs on search bar Google from your smartphone. Then click the 3D view button and say hello to your prehistoric friend: you can do it rotate, enlarge the details and also see it up close.
Also you can do it move in space that surrounds you thanks to augmented reality, adjusting the size to understand how big they actually were. On Android devices, then, if you turn up the volume you can listen to the passivated and they roars. Below is the list of 10 dinosaurs available:

Discovering dinosaurs
Thanks to Ludia's “Jurassic World Alive” technology, augmented reality dinosaurs are i more realistic models never seen before. In the video above, for example, you can see how a Brachiosaurus was made in augmented reality, starting from 3D modeling until'animation.
Compared to many other animals, dinosaurs face developers with a very complicated technical challenge because theirs sizes are huge. Thanks to Android's new auto-resize feature, it's now possible automatically calculate the distance between the phone and a surface in space.
This way you can resize the dinosaur to fit your phone screen. Just touch the view real size button and the detection technology will automatically reposition the dinosaur in the environment you are in.
