Functions "Copy" e "Paste" can be considered very important for an average user, as they are capable of doing save lot time, without having to sit there typing again or having to keep your finger pressed on the key "Cancel".
Today we will talk about the use of these two functions on the iPhone, in order to give some tips even to less experienced users.
Copy and paste on iPhone: how to do it?
Let's start immediately by selecting the word to copy or paste: before implementing the actual functions, it is necessary to select at least one word.
To do this, all you have to do is double-tap on the word to be selected and use the two cursors that will appear at the ends of the highlighted word to select other words.
If you want to speed up the selection operation, here is a quick list with the main gestures to do it:
- To select a word: double tap with one finger.
- Select a phrase: Tap three times on the phrase to select.
- To select a paragraph: tap four times on it.
- To select all: double-tap at the beginning of the paragraph and swipe down with two fingers.
Once you have selected everything, go inside the document in which to paste what you have copied or cut and touch once, the option will appear "Paste".
Also with regard to these functions there are some quick gestures introduced with iOS 13, here they are below
- Copy: after selecting the word use three fingers on the screen, start from the outside and join them at the center of the screen, as if you were to take something.
- To cut: repeat the single operation twice to copy, so twice with three fingers from the outside to the inside.
- Paste: to paste all you have to do is start with three fingers joined, start from the center of the screen and separate them in different directions with a quick gesture.
