Would you like to remotely control your Android device?
I bet several of you would be interested in a lot.
Put the case of having your mobile phone charging in another room and want to check your text messages or maybe write one. your PC, perhaps a laptop, could remotely control your smartphone.
With what I am about to explain today, you will be able to do it without problems, wherever you are !!
Let's start by telling you that for this procedure it is advisable to use your google account, for convenience.
- Open Play Store on the Android device and download the Free app AirDroid.
- After the installation, start the App and choose to log in with the google account (or alternatively also with facebook). Choose a password and sign up for the service for free.
- You now have two alternatives:
1) If you are connected in the same network as the PC you want to use to control the Device, you can use the local address from the PC (the device will show you, it is the one that starts with 192.168.1… .. etc…).
2) Otherwise you can access the website.airdroid.com from your PC, and scan the QR CODE that will appear next to the login window, with the SCAN QR CODE button on the device.
If you do not want to use the camera, or if the mobile phone is really not at hand, just use the email and password used for registration and click LOGIN on your PC.
During the installation of AirDroid you can also activate the function that can locate the mobile phone in case of loss, or make it ring, or even block it. I advise you to activate it, but you are free to do as you wish.
Once logged in, you will have a Linux-like screen in front of your eyes.
From this screen you will have information on the battery, cell phone connections and available spaces.
You can also send files, links, notes or APK files to your mobile phone.
On the left instead you will have a series of icons that will allow you to manage and send sms, manage the address book, music, ringtones, installation and uninstallation of applications and many other functions, including a file manager, remote control of the camera and finally the SCREENSHOT function, which allows you to save snapshots of the mobile phone screen, as well as observe the screen from a distance, with not too much delay.
The only thing missing is the possibility to control the touch from a distance, and we will really have all the functionality possible.
