The arrival of this emulator will certainly not make you happy Nintendo, but to date it is legal to use it if users are in possession of an original copy of the emulated video game.
Nintendo 3DS Citra emulator: how does it work?
Citra looks like a simple app. Once opened, it is possible to choose which title to play from a folder: however, we do not find games or system files (protected by Copyright) included. Can my phone run Citra? How do I unload it?
According to the staff behind Citra, the best way to run the emulator and play smoothly and smoothly is to own a Snapdragon 835 or better SoC. As it turns out, Qualcomm devices should perform Citra better than Kirin, Exynos or MediaTek chipsets.
The version of the operating system Android request is 8.0 Oreo or higher, with support for OpenGL ES 3.2. Running on unsupported devices will generate technical issues and performance issues.
Citra is already available for preview download on PlayStore and on the official website.
