Five years after the launch of the first version, Cambdrige Audio, historic British manufacturer of high-end audio equipment, launches the new line CX Series 2, with two brand new integrated amplifiers CXA61 e CXA81. The big news comes together with the new app for the streaming platform Stream Magic, to offer in a timeless design and with ease of use. The "British" sound was born in Cambridge
As the name suggests, the Cambridge Audio company has its origins in Cambridge, in England, a city that hosts one of the most prestigious universities in the world. At the beginning of the years '60, a group of young technology graduates has started a research and development activity to offer the authentic "British Sound“: Over time, this company will become Cambridge Audio.
Now, after making several products, recognized by consumers all over the world, for theirs exceptional sound, innovation and quality, Cambridge Audio launches the new line CX Series 2, with two brand new integrated amplifiers CXA61 e CXA81.
The heir to a success story: CXA61
With CXA61 Cambridge Audio engineers have achieved a great milestone by improving one of the company's most successful products. The predecessor CXA60, in fact, it has been among the most awarded amplifiers in its category in recent years.
To achieve this, the CXA61 has been equipped with a high resolution digital-to-analog converter capable of process signals through the USB input, now integrated, up to a maximum of 32 bit / 384 KHz. The maximum of musical enjoyment via wireless, then, is guaranteed by the new integrated amplifier Bluetooth aptX HD. Finally, to offer maximum connectivity, versatile analogue and digital inputs, which blend together, complete the device in the elegant "Lunar Gray" design of the product.
Uncompromising British Sound with the Cambridge Audio CXA81
The CXA80 has redefined the limits of what is possible for an amplifier in its class. With the CXA81, Cambridge Audio has managed to further refine that unique concept. Starting from maximum connection versatility and with a power of 80 watts per channel, allow you to enjoy the authentic "British Sound”. The technical innovations continue with the new digital-analog converter and with the possibility of process the sound also coming in this case through the USB inputs.
With the CXA81, Cambridge Audio has made a product complete and multifunctional able to offer maximum listening and all the pleasure of using a latest generation Hi-Fi.

Total freedom of streaming
Cambridge Audio is very proud of their streaming platform Stream Magic. Until now, thanks to the Cambridge Connect app per iOS e Android, owners of Cambridge Audio network players had a handy app to control the playback and management of their music. The British company is now presenting one completely renewed version of its app for the Stream Magic platform. This offers users one greater ease of use and more control options. The app is compatible with CXN, CXR120 / 200, 851N and Edge NQ streaming devices and is available for free for iOS and Android. With Stream Magic, Cambridge Audio therefore offers a solution of full streaming which supports both new products and existing series.

The CXC and CXN (V2) audio players are also available in the Amazon webshop, at the recommended price of, respectively, € 599 and € 1.099. The new Stream Magic app, on the other hand, is available for free download from the App Store for iOS and from the Google Play Store for Android.
