Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood - Jurassic Park, COVID and more easter eggs you can't miss

The DLC is no different, with weird quests where you'll complete a truncated version of the hero's journey, or battle enemies making them extremely tasty while bathing.

But you will also find references and Easter eggs hidden in the new cards. So far we've found posts from angry developers, Jurassic Park crashes, and more. We are listing all the Easter Eggs we find out in the full guide below for your personal reading.

A bad case of cabin fever

Found stenciled on the back of a building before reaching Vestige.

When you cross the first bridge, go right instead of left - and you'll find a structure with these cheekily branded letters on the side. We're all incredibly sick (no pun intended) of our XNUMXs, and it looks like a cartographer at Gearbox agrees.

We hope the developers stay safe during this difficult time, and indeed - FU COVID.

    Tree problem

The Saurdew Valley in the Blastplains features several Easter Eggs, starting with the crashed rover found hanging in a tree to the right of the entrance, behind the Catch-A-Ride station. The rover, as we all knew, looks eerily like the specially painted cars of, and this is a reference to the scene where Alan Grant and his loads of children are thrown off the edge of the cliff by a rampaging T-Rex.

There is more! The famous scene of the T-Rex, a ringing phone inside a T-Rex and many more appear in the final quest for the location of Saurdew Valley. Saurdew Valley is also a small reference to - a fairly popular agricultural / social indie game.

The movie studio responsible for a little character called Godzilla receives an explicit call at the Cox Theater from. In the Cox Theater, and all this planet's weird fusion of Old West and Japanese influences, you'll find a special production company logo that looks (almost) exactly like.

Everyone in America knows,, and more iconic presentations of the movements, but not all of us know Toho. The logo is literally the same, only Japanese has been replaced by an absurd future language.

The town of Vestige (Population: gearbox)

Here's a fun little Easter egg that will get you a little bit closer to the developers. Hidden in Hacienda de Hina, in the top-floor bathroom, you can find a photo of the inhabitants of the Vestige reunited. Of course, these are actually the developers of Gearbox, posed in an old sepia tone and wearing cowboy gear to better match the image.

If you take a closer look, you can see a "Vestige" logo at the top left, which is the name of the Old West town center that you will occupy in this DLC. Below the rally there is a little note that says 'The Old Crew', dated 2020. It's always nice to see the team supported - and I hope no one will make someone sick by hugging each other. like that.
