Asphalt 9: Legends is the latest in a series of award-winning racing games from Gameloft, which have made the company famous. This ninth entry was published in June 2018 for mobile devices and PC and its release for Nintendo Switch is scheduled for October 9. Each new entry in the series has kept the core gameplay intact, which is most appealing to fans, but has always made innovative improvements to the racing genre in general. This ninth edition is particularly appreciated for its prestigious range of cars and its new control systems, which will of course be transcribed for Switch.
Features like Touch Drive and “Shockwave nitro,” reimplementation of the entry from the sixth series titled Adrenaline, gave this latest edition a dangerously good flavor. Additionally, the game is, according to many, the most advanced graphical racing game on the market and one of the most downloaded racing games to date, if not the most downloaded. Finally, this ninth edition has been featured in several Esports events and tournaments, such as Vodafone 5G ESL Mobile Open, held in Milan with a prize pool of over $ 50, AT&T's ESL Mobile Open in Mexico and their own Asphalt esports series from Black Shark at Gamescom.

However, the pre-purchase option will give Asphalt 9: Legends Starting Racer Pack, giving players a head start in terms of content discovery.
