AGE OF EMPIRES 4 COMING SOON TO XBOX - JEZ CORDEN IS "90% SURE"
Age of Empires 4 marked the grand return of one of the most popular strategy series on PC. As we explained in our Age of Empires 4 review, the title from Relic Entertainment and World's Edge revived the franchise's glory after a 15-year absence.
The Microsoft-produced title is currently available exclusively for PC, but an Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One version may be coming soon: journalist and popularizer Jez Corden mentioned this possibility during the latest episode of the World of Gaming podcast. In the same episode, Jez Corden talked about the release of Avowed, hypothesizing its debut for the second quarter of 2023, but he also talked about many other Microsoft-related topics.
The insider believes that the Xbox debut of the latest chapter of Age of Empires is practically a certainty for 2022: "I think we're going to see Age of Empires 4 on Xbox this year, and I'm 90% sure of it," Corden explains in a passage of the live broadcast, precisely at minute 1:47:05, but without going too deep into the matter.
Although it is the hypothesis of a well-known journalist, Corden's words should be taken with caution, since there is no official confirmation from Microsoft or the developers. But given the great success of the game on PC, its arrival on Xbox could be very likely in the near future.
