Anthem continues to receive support and updates from Bioware, the latest of which was released today as update 1.70, also known as “Icetide”. The update brings some much-needed fixes to the game's loot, one of the biggest complaints players have. This upgraded loot comes in the game's Grandmaster 3 difficulty, which will give players loot with an Gear Score of +5, or a guaranteed level 80 - just completing missions on this difficulty to receive the loot. You can also participate in the new offerings from The Legionnaires tomb. Players can now bid for Guardian Tokens and Crafting Materials during this four-part mission to receive a Legendary item.
While loot is the biggest addition, there are also several seasonal events to see. Given the name of the event, there are now The Ice Storms appearing all over the game, throwing everything in ice and snow. Fort Tarsis is now nicely decorated, Seasonal Strongholds are now playable, Free Play Time Trials have arrived, and players can participate in a legendary new world event.

Welcome to Icetide - The Shaper devices have caused Ice Storms located in Bastion, bringing excitement with every snowflake sparkling across the region. Ice cream is scarce here, but when it does arrive people know the Icetide celebrations will follow soon. The Fêtes lights shine throughout Fort Tarsis, their vivid colors sparkling on the blankets of snow.
Seasonal themed bastions - Each week a different Featured Seasonal Fortress will be unlocked for players, now including The scores leaderboards. If you are up to the challenge, compete with other freelancers for the highest score. Visit the Seasonal Store to exchange your crystal for The War Chests.
