Let's discover two important functions of Maps
Google Maps it is not only a GPS navigator or an app in which to store your favorite points of interest, but it is also a reserve of more or less hidden but often useful and fun functions. Today we explain how to use Maps to memorize the place where you parked the car or, più semplicemente, to share the location with your friends.
Save the parking position
To save the car parking point, on Google Maps, touch the blue dot corresponding to your position and select the item 'Save as parking location'. The location can also be shared with your email contacts, Whatsapp etc. and can be enriched by a written note, by the time of stay and even by an image.

These last 3 functions, however, are only available for Android. It is important to remember that if you save a new parking position, the old one will be automatically overwritten.
Share your location to be found
In addition to storing the car parking, Google Maps allows you to share your location to be found by friends and acquaintances. To be 'tracked', touch the blue dot corresponding to the position and select the item 'Share your position'.
At that point you can choose whether to set a limited time for sharing or activate it indefinitely, that is, until manual shutdown. The location can be shared with your Gmail contacts or by email, Whatsapp, SMS etc.
