As you know, the latest versions of the mobile OS from Google no longer support Adobe Flash Player. The app is still available on Google Play, but is not compatible with Android 4.0 or later versions. However, you can still download the file from the official website and install Adobe Flash Player yourself on Android, whether on smartphone or tablet. Our tutorial explains how to do it!

Install Adobe Flash Player on Android 4.0 or higher
- On your phone or tablet, go to: Settings> Security> check the box "Unknown sources" (to be able to install applications other than those from Google Play)
- Download the installation file Abode Flash Player for Android by clicking here => The “install_flash_player-ics.apk” file will be downloaded directly after clicking.
If you downloaded it from your PC
- Copy the file that is in your downloads directly to the root or to a folder on your smartphone / tablet using your USB cable.
- Use file manager on your device to go to where you copied the file on your device. If you don't have a file manager you can download the excellent ES File Explorer for free from the Play Store.
- Once you have found the " install_flash_player-ics.apk », Click on it to install it!
If you downloaded it directly to your smartphone or tablet
- You simply have to use the file manager (as explained just above) to find the application in the “Download” folder and then click on the application to install it.
- It's finish ! You can now enjoy Abode Flash Player 11 on your Android.
Abode Flash Player for versions prior to Android 4.0
You can install Flash Player on versions prior to Android 4.0 by downloading the correct file from the official Abode website and following the installation procedure as explained above.
Disclaimer : Even once installed, the application does not work on all mobile web browsers. Google Chrome is not, for example, not compatible. This is also the case for other versions installed by default. So it depends on the smartphone or tablet you have.
