The Witcher 3 - Mini Epilogues
There are also numerous mini character epilogues that you can combine with the best ending (or some of the other endings if you like) by choosing the one that suits you best. Below you'll find them all listed with the choices you need to make to get them:
Theme - Variant 1: Deploy with Vernon Roche and Thaler

- ACT III: complete the SECONDARY MISSION - STATE REASONS as follows: Kill King Radovid and take sides with Vernon Roche and Thaler against Dijkstra.
The Emperor will take his troops away from Vizima and let Temeria live in peace.
Temeria - Variant 2: Deploy with Dijkstra
- ACT II: make sure that you have completed the KILLER MISSIONS (SECONDARY MISSION - EYES PER EYE, SECONDARY MISSION - A MORTAL TRAMA, SECONDARY MISSION - REDANIA THE SEARCH) and you can access the next step in Act III.
- ACT III: Complete the SECOND MISSION - STATE REASONS as follows: Kill King Radovid and take sides with Dijkstra against Vernon Roche and Thaler.
Dijkstra is not a violent despot, but his troops are searching for clues of conspiracy, spies and enemies of the crown.
Theme - Variant 3: Deploy with Radovid
- ACT II: make sure that you have completed the KILLER MISSIONS (SECONDARY MISSION - EYES PER EYE, SECONDARY MISSION - A MORTAL TRAMA, SECONDARY MISSION - REDANIA LA RICERATA) and you will have access to the next step in Act III.

Geralt Variant 1: Forever alone
Don't do any romance, or do it with both Yennefer and Triss.
Geralt - Variant 2: Together with Yennefer
Finish the romance with Yennefer, tell her you love her and let Triss go.
Geralt - Variant 3: Together with Triss
Tell Yennefer that the magic between you is now gone and tell Triss that you love her.
Skellige - Variant 1: Hjalmar reigns
- You choose to help Hjalmar and Cerys.
- Deploy with Hjalmar during the Berserker attack.
The young king of Skellige will choke Nilfgaard in blood even at the cost of making his own people suffer.
Skellige - Variant 2: Cerys reigns
- You choose to help Hjalmar and Cerys.
- Deploy with Cerys during the Berserker attack.
Despite her anger towards Nilfgaard, the young queen will do everything to help her people and restore her lands.
Skellige - Variant 3: Svanrige reigns
- Choose NOT to help Hjalmar and Cerys.
- Refuse to solve the Berserker problem again.
Hjalmar and Cerys will die and Svanrige will come to power, taking the government back years, establishing an absolute monarchy and ruling with an iron fist.
Heart of Stone (DLC) - Worst ending
Choose NOT to interrupt Gaunter O'Dim and do not visit the old professor before the end of the DLC.
In this case the glass man will pay you for your services and take Olgierd's soul.
Heart of Stone (DLC) - Best Ending
Choose to interrupt Gaunter O'Dim and challenge him to a game of Gwent. You can only do this if you visit Shani or the Old Professor before the DLC ending.
In this way you will save Olgierd and get his sword as a reward.
Blood & Wine (DLC) - All Die
Choose to seek out the aging vampire known as the Invisible.
In this case all the characters involved will die. However, there is also another alternative way to achieve this result and by changing some cut-scenes:
- Choose to look for Syanna
- Give him the Jib
- Don't investigate Regis
Blood & Wine (DLC) - Someone survives
In this DLC there is no way to make everyone survive so you'll have to make a choice between the following two if you want some sort of good ending:
Variant 1: Dettlaff survives.
- Choose to look for Syanna
- Don't give him the Jib
- Let Dettlaff live
Variant 1: Only Anna survives
- Choose to look for Syanna
- Don't give him the Jib
- Kill Dettlaff
