Weaver is expanding its line of internet connected barbecue which now includes its popular ones gas products, like the entry-level Spirit line it offers Wi-Fi and bluetooth connectivity for temperature monitoring and an integrated digital display.
Weber barbecue, here are the new smart gas models, equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
Smart grilling is nothing new for Weber: the company has been offering a line of meat thermometers for years - iGrill - as an add-on. And last year they debuted with the second generation of Weber Connect, a smart grilling hub that makes any barbecue smart. He also put the Weber Connect inside his pellet smoker SmokeFire, very similar to the competing brand's Trager WiFIRE.
The choice of including an intelligent technology that controls the temperature or monitors cooking is very useful in a pellet smoker, since the cooking dedicated to this product is long and at a low temperature. The ability to control cooking through an application is an extremely interesting feature.
Weber has decided to add its Weber Connect technology to its gas products as well. The connected application, in addition to monitoring the temperature, allows you to check the amount of gas left in the cylinder and also provides many detailed recipes.
The new Weber Connect smart barbecues belong to the company's Genesis and Spirit range and the models currently available on the Italian site are the EX-315 (1363,95 euros), EX-335 (1888,95 euros), EPX-325S (1153,95 euros) and EPX-315 (943,95 euros). The Genesis models have more premium features and are equipped with an LED light on the handle to be able to grill even at night.
