The app in question is My Wall, a utility developed by Giorgio Cantoni, which allows you to manage the background of the your mobile phone in ways you probably never imagined.
My Wall, the ultimate (and free) wallpaper manager
As soon as you open the app for the first time, it already stands out for its own fantastic design, which seamlessly uses elements of the Material Design language such as animations or the bottom toolbar with a central floating button.
Furthermore, its operation is simple. On the home screen we find the wallpaper we configured at that time on our device, along with various tools we can use. Starting from the left, we are offered the possibility of share the background image with other people via any application - for example via WhatsApp -, or save it to a cloud storage drive.
The second is what, in my opinion, it is the most interesting feature of My Wall. It is a panel of statistics area of paper da for you, which shows what the colors that appear in the background image, sorted according to their importance or presence. This function is useful, for example, when you develop a home screen theme, as we can choose the exact colors of the widgets or icons to match those in the background, as My Wall offers us the hex codes for each tone.
In addition, this statistics panel also allows you to generate a chart a cake in which the dominant colors of the background are represented, or the possibility of export the color palette in a document of type CSV - Comma Separated Values.
If we keep reviewing the tools on the bottom bar, we find the function Blur, which allows blur the background at the desired level. A good way to take advantage of this feature is use the original wallpaper on the lock screen and the same blurry image on the home screenthus improving the visibility of widgets, status bar items and icons.
Finally, we find the button filters, which allows you to apply two different styles to the image: grayscale and offset filter. Once you have the desired image, tap the blue floating button to save the wallpaper
My Wall can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store, it is compatible with any device as long as it has a system version equal to or higher than Android 6.0 Mashmallow and is extremely light - once installed it takes up only 2 MB.
