Shining in the Darkness, known as Shining and the Darkness in Japan, it is the first role-playing video game ever to appear on Sega Mega Drive/ Genesis.
Shining in the Darkness is also the 
first title of the famous videogames series RPG Shining. This series, which boasts many titles, has over the years also been proposed for other SEGA home consoles, but also for Playstation 2 and Game Boy Advance.
Shining in the Darkness is not an easy video game, for which there are some useful ones codes that bring free powerful weapons, very effective armor and other extra options, including the ability to rename all characters. TRICKS SHINING IN THE DARKNESS
FREE TAMAYOSHI HELMET
To get a free Tamayoshi helmet, go into any battle, win, and when “'YOURNAME stands victorious” appears, press A + C + Up + Start on controller 2, then press A on controller 1.
GLASS ARMOR
To get the secret glass armor, face any battle and win it; when “HERO stands victorious” appears press A + Down + Right on controller 2, then press A on controller 1.
RENAME ALL CHARACTERS
In the name entry screen, enter a name that uses all 5 characters available, then press the “forward” button and you will be able to rename the next character as well. The trick applies to all characters.
