The videos that you share or that you retrieve on the social network are systematically adorned with the TikTok logo. But you can easily remove this watermark using any free app or online service.
It's very easy to share a TikTok video on another social network, or even download it if its creator allows it. But the files thus recovered always have a watermark with the name of its author and the TikTok logo, including those that you have created yourself! Also, since this watermark changes position during playback from left to right, it cannot be removed by simply cropping the image.
If TikTok obviously does not offer any tool to erase this logo but there are third-party solutions, easy to handle, to recover videos without watermark, and even without requiring prior authorization. However, if you spot the watermark already present on a video in the TikTok app itself, when normally it shouldn't be there, it won't be possible to remove it. In fact, this is probably a video that has already been uploaded by a user, and is reposting it on their profile.
Finally, be careful: just because you have recovered a public video does not mean that you will be able to do anything with it! Whatever their origin, images are always protected by rights and remain the property of their creator. Their use is subject to authorization from their author.
How do I remove the TikTok logo with an app?
On iOS as on Android, you will be able to recover a video without watermark easily and quickly thanks to a specialized app. The handling is the same whether it is one of your videos or that of another user.
On iOS
- Download and install the app SaveTok on the Apple Store.

- Launch it before exploring TikTok.
- Go back to the home screen of your iPhone or iPad and launch the TikTok app. Identify yourself if it is not done automatically.
- Navigate your Home screen to the video you want to see.
- Then press the arrow Share, at the bottom right of the screen.
- A drop-down menu is superimposed at the bottom of the screen. In the Share on section, swipe the icons to the left and tap on the one titled Copy link.
- Now launch the app SaveTok.
- On the Home screen, press the Save TikTok at the bottom of the screen.
- A menu is then superimposed on the screen with a thumbnail and information about the video you have selected. Press on Save Now.
- The first time you use it, the app may ask you for permission to launch TikTok, in order to work. Accept when prompted.
- An advertisement then fills the entire screen. Press the cross at the top left to make it disappear.
- A screen informs you of the download progress.
- When finished, the app automatically switches to TikTok, with your chosen video in full screen.
- You can find the downloaded video in the gallery of your mobile, but also in the SaveTok app, by pressing the drapeau in the red banner at the bottom of the screen.
On Android
- Download and install the app TikTok Downloader on the Google Play Store.

- Launch the app TikTOk and identify yourself if it is not done automatically.
- Navigate your Home screen to the video you want to see.
- Then press the button Share, on the right side of the screen.
- A drop-down menu is superimposed at the bottom of the screen. In the Share on section, scroll to the left and tap on the icon titled Copy link.
- Now launch the app TikTok Downloader.
- On the Home screen, press the Paste Link and Download.
- A new screen loads. The link you copied is already entered automatically. Press the red button Download.
- An advertisement then fills the entire screen. Press the cross at the top left to make it disappear.
- A frame is superimposed and informs you of the progress of the download.
- When finished, a banner appears at the bottom of the screen indicating Downloading Completed.
- Press View to immediately view the downloaded video, or on the turquoise button Open TikTok in the middle of the screen, to return to the app.
- You can find the downloaded video in the app, by pressing My Downloads in the red ribbon at the bottom of the screen, and in the gallery of your smartphone.
How to remove the TikTok logo with an online service?
It is possible to consult TikTok on a computer, and to take advantage of an online service to retrieve items. The handling is the same whether it is one of your videos or that of another user.
- Using your web browser, go to The TikTok site and sign in to your account.
- Browse your For You feed, or Subscriptions, in the left column, to find videos.
- When you've found a video you like, click right arrow, at the bottom of its thumbnail.
- In the drop-down menu that opens, click Copy link to store it in the clipboard.
- A banner briefly appears at the top of the page indicating Copy.
- Still in your browser, open a new tab and go to the TTdownloader site.
- On the home page of the site, click in the field titled Please insert the TikTok link ... and paste the link of the video you copied, with a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + V on PC or Command + V on Mac) or by right-clicking and choosing Coller in the context menu.
- Then click on the button Get the video.
- The content of the window changes and a list of choices appears under the frame. Click on Download video next to the No watermark line.
- A classic dialog box opens (its appearance depending on your operating system), letting you choose the location and name of the video file you are going to download. Make your choices and click on Save. The download starts immediately. When it is finished, you will find the saved video file in your usual download folder.
