NBA 2K Mobile Season 2 launched today with a new face, major upgrades, and next-level content. This includes Zion Williamson on the cover, new map customizations, major game-wide upgrades and improvements, the addition of Gear & Mentors and much more. The famous basketball simulation title for mobile phones and tablets continues to progress and this new content falls under the slogan:
“Run it Back with NBA 2K Mobile Season 2”
Zion Williamson is the first overall selection for the 2019 NBA Draft and is honored here as a figure of the season 2 game. He was born in 2000 (aged 19) and kidnapped or better said kidnapped from Duke by New Orleans. Pelicans of the National Basketball League. As before, players continue to collect hundreds of player cards which have an insanely good visual style which is very well optimized for mobile devices. However, 2K is now boosting the game with the Gear and Mentors feature. You can now assign a mentor to a specific player card to improve their attributes and priority ratio, while also attaching gear and getting different types of bonuses for a specific card, namely a player. This comes in a line of custom basketball sneakers from the biggest names in the sport like Jordan, Kyrie (Nike), LeBron, Curry (Under Armor), Lillard (Adidas), etc.
Season 2 also features new rewards for card game collections and, in response to community demand, the Head to Head game mode has been redesigned. Now players can take their own MyTEAM and participate in a live match against other teams in Head-to-Head mode, with all their rosters trained and optimized. Communication with emotes is also described with unlockable items.
NBA 2K Mobile Season 2 also brings some improvements to the Gauntlet mode, with the addition of daily drills for players to earn packs, and the ability to call on double-team and selections during play. the improvements are designed to meet the needs of the community and the new content is there to develop the game and improve the experience.
