Metal Gear Solid it's a stealth action video game developed by Konami to PlayStation in 1998. It is the third installment of the Metal Gear series, generated by the brilliant mind of Hideo Kojima.

Metal Gear Solid sold a total of over 6 million copies and is among other things the only title in the series to have received dubbing in Italian. The gameplay of this chapter does not differ too much from that of its predecessor, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, which however was in 2D. The protagonist of the game is Solid Snake, who must cross the various game areas infiltrating the enemy lines avoiding being discovered and therefore killed or captured. This happens when you enter the visual cone of the enemies patrolling the area.
When this happens, three distinct phases occur:
- Alert mode means that enemies converge on the spot where you were spotted and the radar is obscured. To exit the alert mode, Snake must hide and be invisible to the eyes of the enemies;
- Evasion mode, i.e. the enemies lose sight of Snake and begin to actively search for him;
- Infiltration mode is the normal phase of the game, with the enemy not aware of Snake's presence nearby.
BONUS CONTENT
Extreme Mode - Beat the game in any mode and start a new game.
Fighting the Red Ninja - Beat the game 100% twice, then go fight the ninja.
