Guys, there's a great Google Maps feature that records your timeline! It works like this, look: when you log into Maps for the first time, it asks you for permission to use your mobile's GPS, recording the places you've been.
By accessing your timeline, you can see photos of the place where you were and remember incredible moments and details of that date, but you can also delete the history and delete the day if you wish. And you can add notes on the spot to edit memories!
How to access Google history
The application is already installed on devices with Android but is also available for iOS, OK? Sign in with your Google account and follow the steps below.
- Open the Google Maps app
- Tap your profile picture in the top right corner;
- Now just tap "Shifts";
- Wait for the upload and it's done.
It's super easy to access, right? And in the top menu you can see a lot of interesting things, such as the places you have been, the trips you have made and the statistics on the types of transport used and how long you have stayed in the places you have visited.
You can also log into the computer if you want to see the information on the PC screen. Just log into the Google Timeline website on the big screen and log in with your Google account!
We hope that this mini guide has been of help to you to rediscover the places visited in the recent and distant past.
