How to play PUBG's Team Deathmatch mode

PUBG is all about getting into a battle royale, picking up a range of random supplies, and trying to be the last to take on an army of other people. The new Team Deathmatch mode pits eight players against another team of eight in a random map where they must work together to defeat the other team. This takes the premise of the original PUBG gameplay away but gives players something new to do with a new set of rules. You are playing the game in first person and you cannot change that.

To join a team deathmatch, go to the arcade section at the top of your main menu. You should find it under the read icon, right next to the public correspondence icon. Click on it and the Tag Team Deathmatch should be the first option at the top. The list of game rules can be found to the right of this section listing the differences from the traditional battle royale mode.

The goal of Tag Team Deathmatch mode is for a team to reach their goal before the others. To do this, you earn points by killing one of the players on the other team. When you load the game for the first time, you have the choice of choosing a variety of different preset loads. All contain a primary, handgun, melee weapon, grenade, helmet, and bulletproof vest. You can choose another loadout at any time by viewing the map overlay and choosing from the choices at the bottom, but you won't receive it until you respawn.

You are not playing on a large map. You can play on eight different locations, all surrounded by the blue shield. If you go outside of these limits, you start to take big damage. Although this is a smaller location, you can expect to see care packages randomly falling from the sky. They carry with them notable armor upgrades, ghillie suits, stimulation items, and more.

You play the best of three games. The winning team receives BP at the end. The overall strategy of playing team death matches focuses on you running around with your teammates. If you stray too far away, you risk getting caught on your own against more enemies than you can reliably take on. If you wanted to practice your skills of staying with a team and working together, this is a great opportunity for you and your friends to practice your skills.
