One of the most replayable features of Nexomon: Extinction is the idea that you can spend enough time in any area hoping to see a rare beast. But, there is already so much to do - trainers to intimidate, other monsters to catch - you will rarely find time to hunt these coveted animals. Although players can maximize their chances of spotting the rare extinguished Mega Nexomon with an important item.
Where to find it
If you've reached the game's first major location, Parum, you can head to the northwest part of town. This is where you can find a research center that will have a dark haired scientist to the right of the help desk (see the image above for reference). He claims he will make an offer that you cannot refuse if you fight his Nexomon. There is a small problem: his Nexomon is the mega rare Florozard.
Have a few coins on hand
Being a grass type combat shouldn't be too much of a problem for you, as long as you have fire types in your arsenal with movement, Burn. Afterwards, the professor explains that Florozard, among others, can be caught by players using the Experimental Lure - a rod that allows you to easily search for the extravagant Nexomon in the wild. You can then buy the item from him for 1000 coins. If you're strapped for cash right now, maybe fight off the wealthy tamers near the Frozen Caverns to earn the amount in no time.
Going deeper into the game, it will be clear that the decoy is a must. There is a huge leap in Nexomon levels once you pass Parum and a rare mega creature of your choice would pay off. Please note that you do not have to enter your inventory to use the decoy. Once acquired, your chances are automatically increased.
