Effectively cleaning your hard drive on Windows often consisted of going through a third-party service like Ccleaner. A bygone era, Windows 10 now has its own, rather effective, native cleanup tool.
From time to time, it may be worth performing a major cleaning of your computer's hard drives. An operation that will free up storage space and could give a little boost to the PC by getting rid of unnecessary files. Manually, it would take too much time. Fortunately, there is a native tool on Windows 10 to initiate a device cleanup.
This hasn't always been the case on Windows, but the native cleanup tool built right now is pretty clean and efficient. Generally speaking, there is therefore no need to install third-party software for this kind of task. Knowing how to configure and secure Windows 10 has never been easier than it is today.
