When your Android phone starts up, you can see a Boot animation. After a while, however, it becomes particularly boring: is it possible to change it with someone that fits our tastes better?

Note: Please note that to change the boot animation you need to have your Rooted mobile phone. Once Root is done, you are ready to edit the animation. Keep in mind that modifying the animation can lead to problems such as a black screen at Boot or even a Bootloop (the cell phone is not able to boot). Always make a backup!
Finally, take into account the screen resolution. If your mobile phone supports Quad HD resolution, it is a good idea to get an animation of at least half that size for example (or you will find yourself looking at a grainy picture when your mobile starts up!)
First Method
The Convenient Method: Boot Animations. This App includes a lot ofanimations that we can replace when we start, naturally taking into account the size of each image. Always use it with caution: it is a program that needs several attempts to work, sometimes the problem is often due to the type of Root and the model of mobile phone. An attempt is not bad, however, especially as regards the automatic nature of the program.
Second Method
The manual method: we replace the actual file.
This method is more difficult, but not impossible. In fact, you should know that several cell phones have a file called “Bootanimation” inside the Root. This can be handled either via your PC or via a dedicated App. Simply put, it's very important that we find that file and replace it with the one we want.
Bear in mind that each Bootanimation is different. The mobile that reads the file in it can support GIF files or even just a JPG above a certain size. Find out first what is supported and where exactly the Bootanimation.
Therefore, get:
- An App capable of entering Root. You can use any Explorer or a dedicated app like Root Explorer. Keep in mind that you can also enter the Root with your PC, but this is not the case with all mobile phones.
- Get a Boot animation. You can find many on the net or you can create your own. This is an example (https://i.imgur.com/ThtTUap.gif).
Once you've prepared for it, it's time to replace the Bootanimation. This is always based on a single ZIP file. Create a Backup and replace it with the animation you want, always compressing it in a ZIP. Restart your mobile phone at the end of the operation.
