If you give me a few minutes of your free time, I can indeed show you how to appear on Google both in relation to the search results and on some of the main services made available by the Mountain View giant, such as Maps, News and Images. I guarantee that, even if you do not consider yourself a genius of technology, you will have no problems understanding and implementing the "tips" that I will give you since, as usual, I will use a simple and understandable language even to "non-experts works".

How to appear first on Google
You would like to have articles posted on your website appear first on Google? As a rule, Google automatically detects (using so-called Googlebot, also known as muzzle o spider) the contents present on all Internet sites and, when a user performs a search, returns the most relevant results by performing a whole series of mathematical calculations: I already told you about it in another tutorial, remember? In some particular cases, however, it may happen that the indexing mechanism does not fully do its duty and the contents of a site do not appear at all in the search results.
If such a thing has happened to you and you want to find out how to appear on Google with your website, all you have to do is connect to the page for Adding / Updating a URL and fill in the form located below by typing the address of the home page of your site in the field URL (Eg. ) and a brief description of the same in the text field Post comments . Then press the button Add URL and within a few days, your site should appear in Google search results. Easier than that ?!
If, on the other hand, your site / blog is already present in the Google search results but is displayed only in the secondary pages, you can try to increase its visibility and make it appear in the very first positions. by posting quality content that are able to gather the attention of users and the search engine. Of course, this work takes time, perseverance and planning: but I guarantee you that if you do a good job, the results will show over time.
Of course, if you want to attract the attention of new visitors (and therefore also of Google) you have to create content that is of interest to users. To find out which topics are of most interest at a given moment, you can use the free service Google Trends which provides national and international statistics on keywords that have been searched for by users at any given time.
To access Google Trends statistics, all you have to do is connect to its home page, type in search bar placed the keyword of your interest at the top of the page and check its degree of popularity using the drop-down menus in the various statistical boxes through which to analyze the interest over time, the geographical areas from which most of the searches carried out for the keyword you are analyzing and so on.

How to appear on Google Maps
You have a business and would like it to appear on Google Maps, so as to allow your customers and suppliers to find you more easily? I guarantee you that this is a very simple operation to complete. All you have to do is log into Maps using your Google account, mark your activity on the map and wait for the “Big G” team to approve your request - that's all. In the next few lines I will explain in more detail how to act both from mobile and from computer.
- From smartphones and tablets - start the Google Maps app on your Android or iOS device, find the point on the map where you want to add your business, tap the button (≡) located at the top left, select the item Add a missing place from the menu that opens, fill out the form with all the required information (Full name, Address, Category, Phone Number, Website, etc.) and then presses on Send.
- From computer - connected to Google Maps, press the button (≡) situato in alto a sinistra, selects the voice Add a missing place, log in to your Google account (if you have not already done so) and fill out the form that appears providing all the requested information: Full name, Address, Category, Phone Number, Website, etc. Once you have entered all the required information, press the button Send And that's it.
Once the request has been sent, Google will analyze it and in a short time it should make your activity visible on Maps: when this happens, you will obviously receive a confirmation email.

How to appear on Google News
You are the administrator of a website that deals with the dissemination of news and would like to know how to appear on Google News? Before submitting your request to Google, you must be sure that you have the necessary requirements to make the request. In this case you have to do the following.
- Make sure the content on your site complies with Google's content policies for prohibited content, To restricted content and at prohibited practices.
- Make sure that the content on your site complies with the technical guidelines on indexes: for example in relation to URL of your articles, ai link and multimedia content present in them.
If your site fully meets the requirements to be featured on Google News, you can proceed with your request e submit your website for inclusion. To do this, go to the Google News Publisher Center and use the Search Console to verify the ownership of your site: linked to this page, provide theURL of your website in the appropriate text field, presses the red button Add a property, follow the instructions given to you to proceed with the verification, put the check mark on the item I'm not a robot and then presses the red button Verifica located at the bottom.
After verifying the ownership of your news site, press the button Request inclusion in Google News located at the nome of the site that you want to appear on Google News (in the Publisher Center), fill out the form that appears on the screen providing the requested information (eg. Source URL, source name, Site language, etc.) and presses the blue button Send.
Once your request for inclusion in Google News has been submitted, it will be reviewed by the Google team within 3 settimane: If your website is accepted, you will see the message Even under the column News (always in the Publisher Center); otherwise the message will appear Evaluation completed: site rejected.
If your site is not included in Google News, try to understand the reasons and make the necessary changes: 60 days after receiving the rejection notification from Google you can resubmit your inclusion request.
How to appear on Google Images
You wish to know how to appear on Google Images? The answer is simple: you have to upload the images to appear on Google on your website and, if this is already indexed by the search engine (as I have already explained to you in the first chapter of this post), the images will be immediately available. on the latter. If you do not have a site available, however, you can upload them to a social network (eg Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) and make sure you have selected the privacy settings that allow them to be displayed on search engines.
If you want, you can also try to favor the display of images on your website in order to make them more easily indexable by Google. Here are some practical steps you can take.
- Post good quality photos - If the images are sharp and well defined, users are more likely to click on them and come to your website.
- Provide as much information as possible about the uploaded images - use the tag alt to describe an image (<img alt="How to appear on Google" src=”nome-immagine.jpg” alt=”descrizione immagine”) is a trick you can take to make it more easily indexable by Google.
- Use descriptive names for the images - this also favors their indexing by Google. So avoid using type names IMG81200012.jpg; much better screenshot-google-images.jpg.
