Apple, during its April event, unveiled its new functionality Apple Card Family, which allows two people to share a single Apple Card, the credit card of the Cupertino company. Apple Card Family: how credit card sharing will work in detail
Apple Card Family, available only in United States, allows you to share ownership of the same credit card between two people. As the owner of Apple Card, you can invite up to five members of your Apple family group, and select one as co-owner, as long as they are of legal age. The other four participants, on the other hand, must be at least 13 years old.
Co-owners of the account will have their credit reported equally in their own name, and will share full responsibility for the account balance and all payments. They can also set various controls for other participants, such as spending limits; request a credit limit increase; receive unlimited daily cashback on their transactions and close a shared account. They are also able to view all the transactions made in the account, as well as their own.
The participants, on the other hand, are subject to more restrictions depending on their age. They are not responsible for payments, they can only view their transaction history and can spend up to the account credit limit (although account owners can set an optional limit). If they are over XNUMX, they can request a physical titanium Apple Card. The Cupertino company then reminds that Apple Card Family weighs on creditworthiness, or rather its score defined based on the payment history and credit use, of each member.
Joining Apple Card Family is very simple.
