Applications that launch at the start of your Mac session can significantly slow down system performance.
Often, this is not even intended: some software launches at startup without your consent. Fortunately, turning off auto-launch is quick and easy. In a few clicks, this tutorial allows you to find a blank session at each start.
Disable automatic launch from the Dock
- On the However,, locate the software that launches at the start of the session.
- Long press on it (or swipe right click) to display the contextual menu.
- Click on Options and deactivate the option Open with session.
Disable automatic launch from "System Preferences"
- Open the "Preferences" menu by clicking on the menu Apple then System Preferences.
- Press Users and Groups.
- Click on the tab Opening.
- Select the application you want to prevent from launching at session start.
- Click on the button "-" (minus) to remove it from the list.
You can then repeat the manipulation for all the applications in the list that you do not want to start on startup.
