If you've already plunged into the Wild West of Red Dead Redemption 2, you'll immediately realize that completing the game 100% won't be a walk in the park at all. The contents Rockstar Games has included in its latest game are really a lot of content, and it will take a long time to pluck them all out. It is precisely with this in mind that the exotic quests are included.
Exotic quests are secondary quests, to which you will have access after accepting the quest "Duchesses and other animals", which will be assigned to you by Algernon Wasp, which you will find in a house with garden north of Saint Denis. This quest will only become available during Chapter 4 of the game, provided that you have previously completed the quest "The Gilded Cage".
As we will explain in more detail shortly, the essence of these quests will be to search for certain objects, which will be assigned to us by the NPC mentioned. o:
What are the exotic quests of Red Dead Redemption 2?
Let's start this guide straight away by saying that there are 5 exotic Red Dead Redemption quests, but they will require you to go to 19 different locations. In the quest sides mentioned, in fact, you'll have to search for two types of objects: bird feathers and plants.
Collecting the birds' feathers (herons, spatulas, etc.) will not be easy at all. In the case of this first category of objects, in fact, you will have to keep in mind that the birds in question will only appear in certain areas of the game map (which we will indicate in the attached pictures). They will appear in a completely random way and, to get their feathers, you will have to skin their carcasses. At best, with a bit of luck you should hurry up in about 10 hours of gameplay.
Plants, on the other hand, are much easier to collect, provided you know exactly where to look for them. Each of these plants, in fact, will appear only in certain areas, which we will indicate in the attached pictures. All you have to do is go to the zones in question and press the L3 + R3 keys to activate the "eagle vision". In this case, the plants to be harvested will be highlighted by a "blue dust", making them jump out at you.
In both cases, you'll have to collect them in large quantities, but in the case of plants, know that their appearance won't be random.
After completing a certain quest, return to Algernon Wasp and give him the items he quested, so that he can access the next quest. To see the list of missing items, all you have to do is press the button on the directional cross of your game pad, or alternatively, press the button if you want to see what you have collected directly from the inventory.
Exotic Quest 1
- Snowy egret feathers (x5) - There are 3 types of egrets, and you will need to skin them all to get their feathers. These birds can all be generated within the red zone shown on the map below. Their spawn locations are completely random, the only thing you need to make sure is to look for them during the day and not at night. The egrets will be flying or sitting on the tree branches, and they will fly away when you get close. Fortunately, you can kill one with a single shot from your weapon, whatever it is. It is possible that you may come across a whole flock of these birds; in this case, shoot repeatedly, trying to hit as many birds as you can. Luckily, their carcasses will be easy to spot, as they will be marked with a special icon on the game map. Unfortunately, you will often come across egrets, herons, ducks and other birds all flying together in the same flock. In this case, the only way is to take out as many birds as possible and check the carcasses. The best places to check are north of Saint Denis, in areas where you will have a clear and clear view (not in the swamp), and very south of the search area near the water. It may take a few hours to get 5 pens of all subspecies of egrets, but fortunately they all lay their eggs in the same area outlined in red. Based on the above, the species whose feathers you will obtain will be completely random;
- Little Egret Feathers (x5) - See the description of the snowy egret for all the relevant information;

Exotic Quest 2
- Heron Feathers (x20) - Herons are birds that you will need to skin to get their feathers. These birds can all be generated within the red zone shown on the map below. Their spawning locations are completely random, the only thing you need to make sure is to look for them during the day and not at night. Herons will be flying or sitting on tree branches, and will fly away when you get close. Fortunately, you can kill one with a single shot from your weapon, whatever it is. In this case, the only way is to take out as many birds as possible and check the carcasses. The best places to check are north of Saint Denis, in areas where you will have a clear and clear view (not in the swamp), and far south of the search area near the water. It may take a few hours to get 20 heron feathers, but fortunately they lay their eggs in the same area outlined in red. Exotic Quest 3
- Alligator Eggs (x20) - These are the easiest to find items on your list. You will find nests with alligator eggs in the marshes to the north and in the water to the south of the search area (which is outlined in red on the map below). The good thing is that each nest will contain more eggs, usually between 3 and 5 units. So, to get the amount needed for the secondary quests in question, you will only need to find 6 or 7 nests.The nests in question will always be close to their "parents", fully grown adult alligators, and always close to the water or swamp. According to what is now written, by activating the "eagle vision", by pressing the L3 + R3 keys, you should be able to locate them without too much effort, as they will be highlighted by an
