Ghosts' n Goblins (which in Japan is known by the name Makaimura) it's a platform video game developed and published by Capcom in 1985, first as an arcade and then for various platforms, among which we mention the NES and the Sega Mega Drive.
The protagonist of the famous
video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System is Arthur, a medieval knight wearing shining armor, who is committed to saving his woman from the clutches of a demon in the service of Astaroth, a two-faced demon who has ordered the kidnapping of the girl. Ghosts'n Goblins is a predominantly a video game horizontal scrolling but there are also vertical scrolling levels.
In the game Arthur can crouch, walk, jump, climb stairs and use a variety of weapons, from daggers to spears. The armor he wears protects him from the first blow, after which he remains beautifully in his underwear, with the second blow being fatal for our brave knight. LEVEL SELECTION
On the home screen, before the demo starts, follow these instructions:
Hold RIGHT, then press B 3 times.
Press UP and release it, then press B 3 times.
Press LEFT and release it, then press B 3 times.
Press DOWN and release, then press B 3 times. Press START and a number and a letter will appear in the center of the screen.
Use the A and B buttons to change the numbers and select the stage you want to start from.
Press START to start the game.
EASTER EGG
To see the bonus message, complete the game twice in a row. In the final screen, the second, press A, B, UP, DOWN, A, B, LEFT, RIGHT. If done right, you should be able to see the game's credits.
