First stage - 1v1
In this first stage of the fight, there will be only you and the Mongolian leader on a snowfield. Normal rules apply here. Look for red attacks and try to dodge to counter them, while getting parries and blocks on other attacks.
Khotun Khan's attacks are telegraphed because they are wide and extensive and can be easy to confuse. Once you get the flow of his red attacks, you can look for opportunities to counterattack on dodge. But if you're having trouble getting hit by the red attacks despite dodging (due to timing issues), just double tap the dodge button to get away. You won't be able to hit, but you won't be hit either.
Like other fights, there will be a milestone where they clash and exchange words. At this point, new attacks will be used, including a blue attack that can be parried.

Step 2
In the second stage, you will fight Kahn's warriors trying to find him. Fight your way through enemies until you find your way on Kahn's boat. Once on board, you will have to face different types of enemies as well as the Kahn himself. Fight off these enemies and eventually you'll get another short cutscene that marks the final stage of the fight.
Step 3
Stage 3 throws you a bunch of tough enemies. You'll either need to use different stances on the fly, or it's a good place to have a recorded Ghost Stance power move ready to go. Once all of the minions have fallen, you can focus on the Kahn himself and use the same rules against him that you used in the first stage of the fight.
Some tips for on-board combat. Once is to watch the exploding barrels. You can really weaken a group of enemies by using these barrels or shooting arrows through braziers. Other than that, don't forget to use your secondary weapons and items, arrows, and surroundings to take down minion enemies.
