Xinyan build suggestions
Don't be fooled by all the flames: Xinyan is primarily a physical damage dealer in Genshin Impact. While Defense looks like a solid stat while cycling through its skills and passives, you'll want to focus on Attack Percent, followed by Crit Rate, and then Critical Damage once you've unlocked its second constellation (the defense is good as a fourth stat, but it shouldn't be prioritized).
Since Xinyan is a relatively straightforward Genshin Impact character, the builds for her are fairly straightforward. If you want to build it as damage / support from the Pyro you can, but for weapons you will need either the Prototype Archaic (a fairly easy to obtain 4 star claymore made by the blacksmith), or the tombstone of the wolf (a 5 star monster that can only be obtained through gacha draws) regardless of which route you take.
- Archaic Prototype: On hit, normal or charged attacks have a 50% chance to deal 240% more attack damage to opponents in a small area. Can only occur once every 15 seconds. Secondary: Attack.
- Wolf's Tombstone: Increases Attack by 20%. On hit, attacks against opponents with less than 30% HP increase the attack of all party members by 40% for 12s. Can only occur once every 30 seconds. Secondary: Attack.
If you want to take a look at Xinyan's physical damage, there are two sets of artifacts to choose from in Genshin Impact. Gladiator's Finale is a solid set for Xinyan if you get the four-piece bonus, but pairing him two-piece with Bloodstained Chivalry will increase all of his physical damage, not just his normal attack. If you want to lean towards a more Pyro-centric build, you'll need either the Noblesse Oblige artifact set if you plan to improve your team's overall attack damage, or the Crimson Witch of Flames if you want to configure more powerful elemental combos.
- Gladiator's Finals (Elite Bosses and Weekly After World Level 2)
- (2) Attack + 18%.
- (4) If the wearer of this artifact set uses a sword, claymore, or pole weapon, increase their normal attack damage by 35%.
- Bloodstained Chivalry (Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern)
- (2) physical DMG + 25%
- Noblesse Oblige (clear pool and mountain cave)
- (2) Elemental explosion damage + 20%.
- (4) Using an elemental explosion increases the attack of all party members by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.
- Crimson Witch of Flames (Zhou's Hidden Palace Blueprint)
- (2) Pyro damage bonus +15%
- (4) Increases overloaded and searing DMG by 40%. Increases steam and DMG melting by 15%. Using an elemental skill increases the 2 piece set bonus by 50% of its starting value for 10s. Max 3 batteries.
