Fortnite Update 2.98 patch notes
There are currently no official patch notes for Fortnite update 2.98. We'll update this article accordingly once Epic Games releases an official list of changes. Unlike last week's big update which added new weapons and modes, this patch likely only includes behind-the-scenes improvements and fixes for small bugs and glitches. While there are currently no patch notes, here are some of the biggest known issues with the game that Epic Games is working on right now:
- Fortnite crew issues on Xbox - Content not received or deleted from account.
- Fortnite Crew errors on Samsung devices.
- PS5 resolution output at 1080p instead of 4K on some displays.
- Long loading screen after finishing a session on PlayStation / Xbox
- Cannot create system level groups between PS5 and PS4 when playing Fortnite.
- Difficulty modifying the banner with a controller.
- The banner icon is not updating correctly.
- Audio delay of the sound effect.
- PlayStation runtime error message.
- Visual problem with Michonne's outfit with the blings on the back of the cape.
Some of these issues may have been addressed with this update, but chances are that most of these issues will persist until the game's next big patch.
Fortnite is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. For more information on this update and known issues, visit the official Fortnite Trello board.
