Fortnite Update 2.87 patch notes
- New boss: Wolverine
- Face off against Weapon X deep in Weeping Woods, take it out and tear your opponents apart with the mythical power of Wolverine's Claws. Like the other bosses on the map, he won't descend without a fight. Tell us what you think!
- Takeover LTM
- Earn points by capturing and holding outposts in a new Marvel-themed game mode. As you rule the island, you'll start off with a random primary superpower and see comets in the sky relinquish more powers of all types to build your perfect loadout.
- BTS in Party Royale
- BTS will air a special dynamite video on 25/9 at 20 p.m. ET. Keep an eye on our announcements blog for the latest news for content creators. We'll see each other there.
- Fortnite turns three
- Special birthday-themed plans are lined up this weekend to celebrate Fortnite's third anniversary. More challenges to earn XP, new rewards and cake.
- Llama-Rama starts September 26
- Play Rocket League to unlock items for Rocket League and Fortnite. And watch Slushii on the Main Stage celebrating Llama-Rama on 26/09 at 17 p.m. ET at Party Royale.

- Fixed an issue where placing a map marker would negate movement.
- Fixed an issue where Replays would not record on PlayStation 4.
- Fixed a bug where fishing spots could disappear on PC with effects set to Low.
- Fixed a bug where Park and Ghost House heroes are not considered discovered locations after being discovered.
- Mode Creative
- Fixed an issue where grass was not removed when placing items on the ground.
- Fixed a bug where some players were not granting items after the first turn in some team games.
- Save the world
- Fortnite 2.87 fixed an issue where Ramirez's Commander Perk would not function properly with loaded Sniper Rifles.
- Mobile
- Inconsistent visibility of fishing spots on Nintendo Switch and Android.
