Week after week we've come to the fifth, cursed, challenge that Epic Games develops to create content for players who want to play . This time the challenges came out according to the usual schedule during the day on Thursday, restoring the order and punctuality that had characterized the seven previous seasons of the game.
The challenges that players have been asked to complete this week are generally already seen within the Royal Fortnite Battle History but there are also some interesting new toys to bounce around on the game map.
What is different in this season is the environment, this time volcanic, this time hostile; inside comfortable Girosfere the player is called to explore an island even more divided in its biomes because of the continuous environmental change. We will find ourselves to travel, because of challenge, inside the most hostile jungle, inside the snowy areas and inside the most desert and hot areas of the game environment; without ever losing sight of the goal of completing all the challenges in the shortest possible time.

These challenges can be completed without purchasing a battle pass and are therefore available to all players who have Fortnite installed them on their device/console/computer.
Inflict damage to opponents with a rifle scope weapon
This challenge asks the player to inflict 200 points of damage to opponents using only weapons with a sight. Sight weapons are all weapons that have a second sight mode that can be activated with a special button. These weapons are some of the assault rifles, the revolver with sight, and virtually all (or nearly all) sniper rifles. Inflicting that damage to opponents is not particularly difficult because these weapons have a large range and allow the user to hit even targets unaware of what is about to happen to them. With a sniper rifle shot that ends up in 90% headsthot you will complete the challenge in a single bullet and can move on to the next one.
Search for Paradise Palm groves or Confusion Conduits
This challenge asks the player to open seven hidden chests between Paradise Palm Grove and Confusion Ducts. Both locations that are being challenged this week are rather large and certainly need no introduction for the navigated players; for all the others just need to know that to complete this challenge simply pay attention to the cashier's jingle, now easily recognizable. Simply pay attention to the large number of opponents that you will find in both locations during this first week.
Complete one lap in Borgallegro
This challenge asks the player to complete one lap in the gyro ball track located in Borgallegro.
Once you get to that point if you can see four gyrospheres. If you get into one of these vehicles you will be able to observe a countdown that will start the challenge when you are finished. To complete the challenge it is necessary to simply take a lap on the course being careful not to avoid in any way the blue rings; it is important to pay attention to a specific detail: at a point of the track it is necessary to use the grappling hook to overcome certain obstacles.

These challenges can only be completed by players who have purchased the battle pass from Epic Games' in-house store for 1000 v-bucks (around €10).
Make 15 rebounds with one throw only using the Bouncing Ball Toy
This challenge asks the player to use the bouncing ball toy among his emotions and to use it to reach fifteen rebounds. First, open the locker and select the toy by inserting it inside the toy wheel; to unlock the toy you will need to reach at least level 26 of the battle pass of season 8, nothing particularly complete if you have followed our guides so far.
Once you have completed this first step, all you will be left with is to enter the game and decide how to complete the challenge. The easiest way to complete it all and quickly move on to the next thing to do is to create a 1×1 structure and throw the bouncing ball to one of the corners of it. By doing so the narrow spaces and walls will create enough obstacles for the bouncing ball to make all the appropriate bounces.
As an alternative strategy you can always reach the highest area you have in mind, the top of a mountain or an extremely high point reached through the structures and then throw the bouncing ball below you; the great height will give you enough power to make the necessary fifteen rebounds.
Phases Challenge
This phased challenge asks the player to retrieve shield points through the use of items that have been included in the game for that specific purpose. These are Mushrooms, small shield potions and large shield potions.
Phase 1: get shields from mushrooms
The first phase of the challenge asks the player to recover 50 shield points using only the mushrooms scattered around the game map. Mushrooms are one of the smallest consumable items in the game and are mainly found in the darkest and shady parts of the map, near the vegetation. Most of the mushrooms on the map are found near Montagnole Maledette, Crocevia del ciarpame, Rifugio Ritirato and Sprofondo Stantio. A mushroom once found must be used through the appropriate button and, after being consumed, will make its user recover five shield points. In order to complete the challenge it is therefore necessary to consume the goodness of ten mushrooms scattered around the game map.
Phase 2: you get shields from small shield potions
This stage of the challenge asks the player to retrieve 100 shield points using the small blue potions, one of the most important objects in the game and most loved by players. Such small shield potions can be found on the ground or inside the chests and are also quite common. Since each small potion will allow the player to get 25 shield points, you will need four different potions to get to 100 and also complete the second stage of the game.
Step three: get shields from shield potions
This last stage of the challenge asks the player to reach 100 shield points using only the large shield potions. These shield potions, also known if you have played more than one game, make you recover as many as fifty points at a time, which is why you only need two to fill your blue bar and thus complete this stage of the challenge.
Use a volcanic conduit, a zipline and a vehicle in the same game.
This challenge asks the player to use different scenario objects made by Epic Games to move faster within the game scenario. These objects are the volcanic conduit, the zipline introduced during the previous game season and a vehicle (the gyrosphere, by far the most common in game).
The gyrosphere is a vehicle that can hold a single player at a time and that makes its pilot immune to bullets until it is destroyed. This feature makes the gyrosphere unsuitable for those who want to do damage because it is impossible to shoot as long as you are inside the vehicle. This big ball for hamsters and rodents has three hundred life points and has a peculiarity known as Rampino, that is, it has the ability to overcome obstacles, structures and climb over objects thanks to this object. Using the grappling hook will give you a speed boost that increases the speed of your vehicle's movement, allowing the player to travel longer distances in less time.
This vehicle is mainly located in the vicinity of the pirate camps and outposts of the expeditions9 that we learned about during the season 7 of Fortnite Royal Battle.

- A pirate outpost is located at the top of the hill northwest of Lethal Lands.
- A pirate outpost is located near the bridge south of Trade Course which leads to Palm Heaven
- A pirate outpost is located in the area northwest of Confusion Ductseast of the lake.
- A pirate outpost is located in the depression between the two hills southwest of Pacific Park
- A pirate outpost is located in the northwest of the new location, Laguna Languida; near the new playground.
- A pirate outpost is located in the area north of the lava river, near the great volcano that appeared with the arrival of the eighth season of the game.
- A pirate outpost is located in the area west of Stale Depth, between Raiders Of The Plunder and the hill.
There are currently seven shipping outposts within the game and they are located in the following locations.
- An expedition outpost is located northeast of Pacific Park
- An expeditionary outpost is located northwest of Raging Steps
- An expeditionary outpost is located west of Refuge Retreat
- An expeditionary outpost is located west of Stale Depth
- An expedition outpost is located northeast of Snob Beaches
- An expeditionary outpost is located northeast of Borgallegro
- An expeditionary outpost is located west of Paradise Palm Grove

The volcanic conduits are instead a phenomenon that you can find in the northeastern part of the map, near the volcano from which they take their name. They are easy to recognize because of the barren and inhospitable terrain.
Eliminate enemies in pirate camps
This challenge asks the player to massacre three opposing characters during one or more games within the pirate camps, one of the new areas introduced within the map Fortnite with the arrival of the eighth season. Over the past few weeks we've learned about these locations because they often featured pirate cannons, one of the new features introduced with the new season of the game.
But there are also other less obvious places where you might come across a pirate cannon that we've listed below.
- One of the pirate camps is located in Paradise Palm Grove, near the bridge that connects the desert area of the game map with the greenest biome.
- One of the pirate camps is located in the area northwest of Laguna Languida.
- One of the pirate camps is located in the area southwest of the great volcano that appeared with the arrival of the new season of play.
- One of the pirate camps is located northwest of Condotti Confusi, in the snowy area of the map.
- One of the most complicated camps to reach, but not without interest, can be found on the top of the mountain north-west of Lande Letali but south-west of Borgo Bislacco.
- A pirate camp can be found with its particularly characteristic buildings in the western part of Sprofondo Stantio
- A pirate camp can be found in the area near Parco Pacifico, south of the mountains that are south of Montagnole Maledette.
