What time is the Galactus event in Fortnite?
The Galactus event begins in Fortnite on December 1 at 13 p.m. PT / 16 p.m. ET. Epic Games recommends that you log into Fortnite at least an hour before the event starts to secure your spot. We've converted this time to multiple time zones for your convenience below.
- 13 h 00 PT
- 15 h 00 CT
- 16 h HE
- 21 h 00 GMT
- 22:00 CET
The event playlist should be uploaded 30 minutes before the official start of the event. The playlist will likely be called “Devourer of Worlds” or something, so be sure to line up for that mode once it shows up in the lobby. If you get into the game early as Epic recommends, just sit on the lobby screen until the event playlist pops up. Once you've loaded the event playlist, you'll be able to spend time on the map with other players until the live event officially kicks off.
What to expect from the event
Not much is known about the actual content of the event, but Epic Games have dropped several clues over the past week, so we have a general idea of what to expect. Of course, Galactus will attack the island to some extent. That's what the entire season has been building, and we'll likely see Marvel heroes and Fortnite characters join forces to fight the Devourer of Worlds. The map will likely receive some significant changes, so expect to see all Marvel POIs such as Stark Industries destroyed during battle.
As for the gameplay, there will probably be a ton of fights. Epic Games tweeted “You know how to drive the Battle Bus… don't you? Just a few days ago, and that means we'll probably be able to pilot the Battle Bus to some extent during the fight with Galactus. The battle bus in the game as well as those under development at Stark Industries have been modified with new jet engines and other equipment, so they are now ready for battle.
