There are a bunch of new changes in Fortnite's latest update to this app is called Chapter 2. There is a brand new map, new boats to pilot, costumes, a new pass, and much more. Players will need to explore the map as they enter the game to explore new areas of the game, view landmarks and other notable places. Another mechanic in the game is swimming, and players can do this faster than pressing Shift.
How to swim faster in Fortnite Chapter 2
When you jump into the water, players will naturally start swimming. There is no specific skill available. Fortunately, Epic Games has made this process simple.
However, they didn't explain how players can swim faster by doing one simple thing when they swim: they can jump. When a player jumps into the water, he will come out of the surface and then dive. You must hit your respective "sprint" button before the jump. Your character must be in the swim animation.
When they dive during this jump, the player receives a quick boost of speed and moves forward. This burst lasts only two seconds. When it's over, players will need to press the jump button on their favorite gaming platform to start over.
There is no charge or recharge time. But, for the speeds to be fast, players will want to wait two seconds before jumping again. For the timing to be correct while swimming, players don't need to rely on dry land to move quickly, and they shouldn't feel overly vulnerable if they get stuck in the water. It used to be easy to get stuck on one side of the river and have to cross it without enough material to build a bridge. The new swim mechanic makes it easier.
