There is a wide range of perks available to players in UFC 4, but before we get into the list, let's talk briefly about the perks of Career Mode. At the start of your character's career in UFC 4, each fighter will receive a special benefit based on the fighting style chosen for your fighter. There are five different types of combat, which means that you have five special perks when creating your character. These five benefits are:
Crazy legs
- Style – Kickboxer
- Capacity - Round and switch kicks are faster and more precise
Laser focus
- Style - Boxer
- Ability - Forehand, Superman and Rotary shots are faster and more accurate
Marathon runner
- Style - Balanced
- Ability - Actions consume less stamina while moving
Crushers
- Style - Wrestler
- Ability - Uses less stamina to grapple with the feet
Cunning
- Style – Jiu-Jitsu
- Ability - Improved submission defense in lower positions
Keep in mind that you will only get one of these perks at the start of the game. The perks mentioned above are also available in other UFC 4 game modes. In addition to the five perks above, many more are available in UFC 4. Here are just a few of those benefits:
Telephone alarm clock
- Ability - Recovers faster from stuns and knockbacks
Tirailleur
- Ability - Faster movement when working upside down
Frontal assault
- Ability - Front and side kicks are faster and more precise
Sliding
- Ability - Negates, escapes, and counterattacks more easily when gripping at the feet
Force of nature
- Ability - Incoming damage is less effective when you have more health than the opponent
Quick hands
- Capacity - Hooks, uppercuts and overhangs are faster and more precise
Bulldog
- Ability - Block more effectively when standing still or moving forward
Pay to miss
- Ability - Swinging while standing still or moving forward more effectively avoids
At your feet
- Ability - Able to lift off the ground more easily
Through the doors
- Ability - Strikes consume less stamina during turns 1 and 2
Taekwondo
- Ability - Spinning kicks are faster and more precise
Weather storms
- Capacity - Block more effectively when moving backwards or to the side
Carved in wood
- Ability - Incoming damage is less effective when you have less health than the opponent
Higher altitude
- Ability - Strikes consume less stamina during rounds 3, 4, and 5
Nightmare
- Ability - Increases a fighter's combat defense whenever they are in the low ground position
Untouchable
- Capacity - Swings when moving backwards or to the side to avoid more effectively
Recharge
- Ability - Recovers more health between turns
Work house
- Ability - Uses less stamina to tackle the ground
Predator
- Ability - Faster movement when advancing or moving sideways
Steel checks
- Ability - Verified kicks reflect more damage
Razor wire
- Ability - Standing knees and elbows are faster and more precise
Like glue
- Ability - Initiate, advance and counter more easily when attacking the feet
Wrestling clinic
- Ability - Increases a fighter's combat defense whenever they are in a ground position
Slam Boost
- Ability - Improved submission defense in the top positions

- Ability - Improved submission defense in the top positions
